The insecure King Donald I is whining that flags will be at half staff during his inaguration, based on the recent death of President Jimmy carter.

“The Democrats are all ‘giddy’ about our magnificent American Flag potentially being at ‘half mast’ during my Inauguration.”

“They think it’s so great, and are so happy about it because, in actuality, they don’t love our Country, they only think about themselves.”

Trump said the flag will be “for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President, be at half mast.”

“Nobody wants to see this, and no American can be happy about it. Let’s see how it plays out.”

    Thanks Granny. DEI must die.

Aside from her DEI “credentials”, her record also includes hitting two pedestrians while driving in New Orleans’ French Quarter in August and creating a gun-free zone around a police station by placing a vocational-technical school inside it.

People in Louisiana do not go to New Orleans. Those that do are armed. The place is a cesspit run by some of the stupidest hominids on our planet. It is amazing to me that NO police figured out that something happened in the French Quarter. The mayor gave permission for young black men to freely conduct armed car jackings.

How dare that Attention Whore President, Jimmy Carter, choose to die a few weeks prior to King Donald the First‘s Royal Coronation???

Just more of the oppressive commies trying to steal King Donnie‘s mojo, and Donnie is angry and calling on his brown shirts to give the commies whatfor.

Definitely a brain-damaged comment even for Rimjob.

Well what would one expect from a LOLGFY Loser anyway?

President Carter got a lot of credit for the Camp David peace deal between Egypt and Israel, yet, despite getting over 70% of the votes of American Jews in the 1976 election, he won only 45% of the Jewish vote in 1980. Though it doesn’t touch on that, this article from The Wall Street Journal explains Mr Carter’s ambivalence toward the Jews.

Prior to the September 1978 Camp David summit with Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, Jimmy Carter went on vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyo. There he read profiles prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency about the leaders he was to meet. As Lawrence Wright puts it in “Thirteen Days in September” (2014), the CIA described Sadat as “a visionary,” a “bold” leader who was “willing to be flexible.” In contrast, the agency depicted Begin as “secretive” and “legalistic.” The profiles seemed to color Carter’s perspective. On returning from his first discussion with Begin at Camp David, he reflected to his wife, Rosalynn, “I don’t think he has any intention of going through with a peace treaty.”

He was wrong. Begin and Sadat made a peace that has endured for decades, a testament to both men’s leadership. Yet the accords that emerged from Camp David were very different from what Carter envisioned. As we ponder Carter’s foreign-policy legacy, it is striking to consider how both Begin and Carter took their cues from Scripture—but in very different ways.

From the moment of his election, Carter was eager to change the Middle East, and he was certain that his deep faith made him more qualified than his presidential predecessors to do so. “I had taught the Bible ever since I was 18 years old,” Carter told his aide Stuart Eizenstat, “and exactly half of all my lessons have been from the Hebrew text, and the other half from the New Testament. So I knew history; I knew the background; and I had a strong religious motivation to try to bring peace to what I call the Holy Land.”

But as Mr. Eizenstat details in his own memoir, Carter’s encounter with the Bible didn’t translate into an affection for the Jews who lived in their historic homeland, be it in ancient Judea or in the 20th century, “and the president’s lack of political sensitivity was sometimes breathtaking.” Carter continued to teach Sunday school after taking office. In one class, the president told his students that Jesus had “directly challenged in a fatal way the existing church, and there was no possible way for the Jewish leaders to avoid the challenge. So they decided to kill Jesus.” In another, he said Jesus’ death was brought about “as quickly as could be arranged by the Jewish leaders, who were very powerful.” An Associated Press reporter was on hand for both.

This was the president who hoped to transform the Middle East. At Camp David, Carter pressured Begin to cease all settlement in the regions of Judea and Samaria, preparing for the creation of a Palestinian state. Begin refused to countenance such a state, deeming it a threat to the safety of Israel’s citizens. He further refused to agree to a long-term ban on settlements in the biblical heart of the Holy Land. Yet Begin did ultimately agree to dismantle all settlement in the Sinai so that it could be transferred to Egypt, paving the way for peace.

Strikingly, Begin’s stance angered both Carter and his own allies on the Israeli right. While Carter deemed an agreement with Egypt insufficient, some Israeli politicians saw the ceding of the Sinai as a profound risk. For Begin, however, there was a clear distinction between the Sinai and the West Bank. The former wasn’t part of the Holy Land, and sacrificing it for peace was a risk worth taking. But in his view, agreeing that the most spiritually significant regions in the Bible should be judenrein would be a crime against Jewish history.

      Boldfaced mine.

I held our 39th and third worst President — behind Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden — in more esteem until I read his autobiography, and saw where he not only admitted but celebrated a post-presidential excursion in East Jerusalem where he ditched his security detail to go walking among the Palestinians. That stupid MF took a chance that the Palestinian terrorists could capture a former American president to throw a huge monkey wrench in President Reagan’s Middle East policies.

Later, President Clinton took a chance and sent Mr Carter to negotiate with the North Koreans over aid to NK’s famine . . . and Mr Carter than painted President Clinton into a corner that exceeded his instructions.

I hpld our 45th and third worst President — better than James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson but much worse than Harding, Reagan (Debt Don’t Matter!), Nixon (If a President Does It, It’s Legal!), Pierce, W (War on Terruh!)…

It’s certain that historians will deem 47 to be the worst ever! He’s already the worst president-elect ever.

President Jimmy Carter died just to irk King-elect Donald.

This just in: The Gateway Pudendum claims the Deep State smothered President Carter to make certain the 30 day half-mast tradition overlapped the Jan 20 Coronation!!! (BTW, ‘half-mast’ is what Stormy Daniels calls Donnie).

After His Coronation, newly crowned King Donald the First can raise all the flags with a wave of His scepter. In reality, Donnie is most like an entitled, bratty 11 year old girl.

  7. Elwood P Dowd says:

Although King Donnie will pardon his Jan 6 minions, he has significant precedent to do so! Our best President, Abraham Lincoln, and our worst, Andrew Johnson, both pardoned Confederate soldiers who tried to destroy America.

    • Dana says:

The Confederacy didn’t try to “destroy America,” but leave it.

It’s amazing how many separatist movements that the United States has supported, after being so opposed to one at home.

      • Elwood P Dowd says:

        A distinction without a difference!!

Didn’t the Confederates advance into some Northern states?

        • Dana says:

They did, but not to conquer the Union; they just wanted to force the US to recognize the independence of the CSA.

          • david7134 says:

The actual traitor was Lincoln. He brought war against the people of the South and he was no authorized to do so. Any Confederate excursion into the North was only to bring the battles out of the Southern states. The Southern states legally could leave the Union. The US demonstrated that our desire for self determination of people is a lie. Lincoln fundamentally changed the nature of our government for the worse. The war was not about freeing slaves, it was an effort by northern interest to confine the blacks in the south with the ultimate goal of deporting them. There is so much about the War that people don’t know or understand.

    • david7134 says:

      No Jeff, that is wrong.
