Ms. Babbitt was climbing through a shattered window beside a barricaded door into the House chamber (where some Representatives were barricaded) when she was shot by a United States Capitol Police (USCP) officer, Michael Byrd. A number of police and Secret Service were saying ‘Get back! Get down! Get out of the way!’, but two ‘brave’ male rioters hoisted Ms. Babbitt up through the broken window anyway.
She was in a relationship with Aaron Babbitt before divorcing hubby one in 2018. A former Obmama supporter, Ashli Babbitt started supporting Trump around 2019 as she was having business ($71,000 judgement) and personal problems (a throuple) and became a QAnon believer. Her hundreds of posts on twitter referred to Trump’s plan (The Storm) to take out the cabal of Dem, Hollywood and Deep State pedophiles. Crazy, right? But it was 2019-2020.
Nothing will stop us … they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours … dark to light!
On the day of the riot, she retweeted messages by Trump lawyer L. Lin Wood demanding VP Pence, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and Supreme Court Chief John Roberts resign and that Pence and Rosenstein be charged. Crazy, right?

Michael Byrd was an officer doing his job. Ashli Babbitt was committing a crime, was commanded to stop, but didn’t. She was stopped by a bullet.
The officers had blocked the doors leading into the House chamber (where staffers and Reps were). The mob broke through and bossted Ms Babbit through the broken window and Officer Byrd, instructed to protect the House members) fired a single shot, striking Babbitt, and stopping the violent mob.
Rather than lie and bitch about it, the reactionaries should petition Mr Trump to have his DOJ investigate and charge Mr Byrd with murder.

In 2021, they shot 1,048, one of whom was Ashli Babbitt, who was crawling through a window into the US House chamber. Some people in the chamber were armed so Ms Babbitt might have killed there.

Ms Babbitt should have limited her ‘protest’ to legal means. Police officers are entitled to protect themselves from threats, don’t you agree? Why do you suppose her ‘courageous colleagues’ had her be the first to crawl through? I suspect they thought the Capitol police would be reluctant to shoot a girl.
The unfortunate Ms Babbitt got caught up in the riot and it cost her her life.
