Trump administration planning ‘large-scale immigration raid’ Tuesday in Chicago: Reports
There are growing concerns over possible mass deportations in the Chicago area as President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office in a matter of days.
New reports from the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times cite multiple sources that say the incoming administration is planning a “large-scale immigration raid” in Chicago next week. ABC News has not yet independently confirmed that reporting.
The report comes amid rising concerns over the mass deportation plan that Trump’s border czar has promised to carry out. Tom Homan appearing on Fox News Friday night, saying there will be “a big raid all across the country.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, the raid in Chicago is expected to begin Tuesday morning, one day after President-elect Trump’s inauguration. Their report added that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will send as many as 200 officers to carry the raid out. (snip)
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration will target undocumented immigrants with criminal backgrounds. Many of them have minor offenses, like driving violations.
Again, I disagree. Recalcitrant sanctuary cities should have to deal with the fallout from their own decisions to protect illegal alien rapists, gang members, murderers, and child predators. Start by going after the ones in non-sanctuary cities, in places they do not want them. Then go after those in sanctuary cities. Why should the non-SCs have to put up with the criminals that the Biden admin shipped to their towns?
Of course, maybe a high profile rounding up will cause large numbers of illegals/fake asylum seekers to self deport.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s office stood firm on his comments made last month.
“We have laws that protect people that are undocumented, migrants, and undocumented migrants,” Pritzker said at the time. “I am going to make sure to follow the law.”
Guess what? Federal law overrides state law when it comes to immigration. You Leftists made that clear when you sued Arizona over SB1070. But, hey, if Pritzker wants to interfere with duly empowered federal agents, he can learn the legal consequences.

While it certainly should happen, I see Tuesday as a bit early to get it organized and in action. The Department of Fatherland Security is still under the control of Democratic leaders and the supervisors they put in place; how would President Trump and his Secretary of Fatherland Security, who has not yet been confirmed by the Senate, get the orders in and the action organized?
How much organizing do you think they need to do to “do your jobs”? There are already hundreds of feds in Chicago on an average day. The law already requires them to detain and deport illegals. It is only Democrat policy that has prevented this from happening. Feds do not need cooperation from local police or courts. They can just hang out outside the courthouses and collect up all those people who are released. They can hang out outside police stations by the front and back doors and collect up released migrants. AND you can count on more than zero Chicago employees being fed up with sanctuary city nonsense and helping the feds with tips and phone calls. Police everywhere are tired of arresting people only to see the same criminal faces back on the streets the next day.
There are already hundreds of thousands of illegals who have valid deportation orders and the Feds already KNOW where they live. This isn’t even hard.
Just a heads up. I was listening to Patrick Bet David, who was put in contact with someone very powerful and knowledgeable from Europe, who remains anonymous. This person said something really big is going to happen on J6, J19(the parade today), or J20th, the inauguration.

But this attempt would be indiscriminate, meaning that many deep staters standing on that stage could also be taken out….No the most likely scenario with drones is TODAY…when Trump is at a rally. These drones are shown to be nearly impossible to shoot down and Russia has finally figured out the uber high tech jamming the west gave to Ukraine and are back using drones again.

Let’s hope everything is uneventful. I have read some papers many years ago about how the USA could fall into military dictatorship. The scenario is that the president/VP, Speaker and senate leader all die in a mass event, before inauguration and before the rest of the cabinet can be sworn in. Any politician who tried to assume power would be seen as a usurper an would never be elected again. The political parties would be in disarray and fail to have legitimacy so an Army general for Joint Chiefs would step in to provide leadership and continuity. Deep state people would support this because generals ARE deep state themselves. It would be a very comfortable arrangement for the DC crowd. Then he would just stay there. The Constitution has proven to be a very effective form of government, but the founders could not anticipate every possibility, nor should they have needed to. At some point, the people of the future should be expected to take care of business themselves.
It’s the American people, not our temporary ‘leaders’, responsible for keeping this greatest of nations on course.
There are and will always be ‘undemocratic’ forces but they cannot exist for long.

Democrats are getting their wish for a “Cold Day in Hell before Trump is in the White House again”. Freezing temperatures will significantly tamp down democratic party brown shirt shenanigans, so no repeat of 2016. The radio is announcing that the convention center down town will be used to view the inauguration indoors, as well as the event being televised, so there is no need for anyone to be out in the cold, other than the people who would need to be out in the cold anyway because it is their job.
