Let me start out by saying I’m not a big fan of RFK, Jr. He may well do an excellent job as head of HHS, but, he is still a crank, has gone overboard on vaccines (crapping all over the garbage COVID vaccines is one thing, going after ones that work, like for polio, is something different) and had always been a believer in anthropogenic climate change. Anyhow, Comrade Sanders brought it up for some reason, despite taking lots of fossil fueled flights from Vermont to D.C. and back, and traveling around in fossil fueled vehicles
RFK Jr reveals major issue he and Trump disagree on
Robert F. Kennedy Jr has revealed one of the major points of disagreements in his and President Donald Trump’s relationship – in what may be the first sign of trouble in paradise in MAGA.
RFK Jr was put through a brutal grilling by senators at his confirmation hearing to become health secretary on Wednesday, where he was pressed on some of his controversial views on things like vaccines, Medicaid and fast food.
Despite coming from a Democrat dynasty, he repeatedly told the hearing he would follow Trump’s lead on policies such as abortion, saying: ‘I serve at the pleasure of the President.’
If he doesn’t want to be a part of what Trump wants then he wouldn’t have accepted the nomination, and, if he goes off the reservation Trump will shitcan him
But the cracks in their relationship began to show when RFK Jr was quizzed by Bernie Sanders about climate change and its effects on people’s health.
Sanders stated that he believes climate change is real and is a health care issue, but ‘Donald Trump thinks it is a hoax [that originated in] in China’, before turning it to RFK Jr and asking if he stands with the president on the matter.
But RFK Jr quickly answered, saying: ‘President Trump and I, from our first meeting, agreed to disagree on that issue. I believe climate change is existential. My job is to make Americans healthy again.’
Exactly. The climate scam is not his problem as head of HHS, no matter what the climate cult thinks, no matter how much they try and make it be part of health care. Kennedy just wants to do the job. He doesn’t have to agree with Trump, the boss, on everything, he just has to do the job. That’s it.
RFK Jr called for the end of subsidies for fossil fuels, stronger enforcement of laws like the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act and new regulations on plastics and chemicals. He also wanted to provide more protection for wildlife, lands and waters.
However, he has also said that putting all focus and resources to combat global warming was a ‘huge tactical error.’
While speaking on ‘The Real Cause of Climate Change podcast,’ RFK Jr discussed how he has been trying to convince friends and that natural ‘solar cycles’ are behind global warming, not greenhouse gas emissions from humans.
Kennedy is an environmentalist at heart, sometimes to the point of being an eco-weenie. And, I’ve heard/read him going full Warmist. At other times, he links it to mostly being natural. Regardless, he seems to want to do the job of head of HHS and not drag other baggage into it. We’ll see.

It’s difficult to understand what he actually wants to do as Secretary.
He’s most passionate about the foods we all eat, feeling that ultraprocessed foods, preservatives and other additives are causing diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, birth defects, obesity etc. The evidence for this is limited. Will Il Douche allow RFK Jr to criticize McDonalds, Pizza Hut, General Mills, PepsiCo, Cargill, Tyson and Kelloggs for killing Americans?

Il Douche took credit and pride in the vaccine program, and rightly so. The vaccines saved millions of lives. Unvaccinated Americans were several fold more likely to die from Covid than were the vaccinated. Those vaccinated and boosted were 20 times less likely to die from Covid. Il Douche’s Operation Warp Speed was one of the few useful decisions he made!!
