I fear that Trump might get himself impeached AGAIN over Ukraine by his own party this time. There are still enough democrats and Establishment RINOs to reach the needed votes in the Senate to make it permanent this time around. Then all they gotta do is work on Vance, who will be forced into naming Niki Haley as VP, and voila, you have the ultimate deep-state Rino in charge, who probably owes her children to the deep state.
His Idea of how to end the war in Ukraine is rather bizarre and certainly sets himself up to the claim that he is a PUTIN asset as the left constantly claims.
Now while I basically agree with his position the way they are putting it out there is quite alarming. Not even having Ukraine at the table for talks with Russia is absurd. Demanding 500 billion in minerals from Ukraine to pay back 100 billion in loans is quid pro quo. I mean shit. If Trump lasts 6 months this time around I will be surprised.

I disagree with your assessment.
1. Trump is in a much stronger position this time with regard to his own party than he was last time. As evidence, just look at the selection rate of his cabinet officials, every one an anti-establishment disruptor.
2. The American people never really understood why we were throwing massive bags of money at Ukraine. The taint of establishment Washington DC corruption causes voters on both sides to question their own previous positions and hearing Trump say out loud, “why are we even involved” opens people’s brains to looks at other possibilities.
3. Trump isn’t “giving anything to Russia”. Russia has taken the eastern third of Ukraine by conquest. This is true regardless of anyone else acknowledging it. For Trump to acknowledge it gives Putin nothing that Putin does not already have. One classic negotiating strategy is to accept the truth when you confront it. It costs you nothing and convinces your opponent that you are rational and reasonable and therefore negotiating with you won’t be pointless. That’s why no one bothered to negotiate with Biden.
4. Trump doesn’t care if anyone claims he is a Putin asset. Trump knows who Trump is. Trump knows who his base is. Trump already survived the “Russia, Russia, Russia” thing and it will be even less effective if the Democrats try it again. There can be no doubt that Trump is negotiating to create conditions that are better for America and for Americans.
Ukraine is not at the table because they have proposed positions that are unreasonable. Thus, it is a waste of everyone’s time to include them. The same for the EU. They contribute nothing but last year’s policies that were supported by a shadow government and a senile old man as a figurehead. Without the stolen billions of dollars from the American treasury to pay off the EU and Ukrainians, none of the Ukrainian or EU plans are viable. Ukraine was never anything but a proxy for the war that Clinton, Nuland, and Blinken wanted. They are no longer in power. The proxies have no place at the table. It is time for the adults to talk.
