    Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey isn’t letting this slide. He’s demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether Biden’s obvious cognitive decline allowed unelected bureaucrats to essentially run the government without presidential oversight. If this is true — and let’s be honest, all signs point to yes — every executive order, every pardon, and every official action taken under Biden’s name could be constitutionally void.

      We all know that Mr Biden was cognitively impaired, but this is a Hail Mary shot. Not only would the state Attorney General have to prove that Mr Biden was impaired when he signed the sentence commutations, but that his powers as President are suspended when he is cognitively impaired. The Constitution already provides that remedy, with the 25th Amendment, and that was not only never used, no one in any greater authority than we commoners ever suggested such.

        AG Bailey’s letter to Michael E. Horowitz, the inspector general of the Department of Justice, spells it out perfectly.

        I write to request that you conduct a full investigation into President Biden’s mental capacity in his final days in office. By now, Biden’s mental decline is famous. Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power. Instead, it appears staffers and officers in the Biden administration may have exploited Biden’s incapacity so they could issue orders without an accountable President of sound mind approving them. That would explain why the Biden administration’s orders were aggressively much farther to the left than any previous President. If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void.

        Our nitwit AG is still angling for a national spot. He was on Big Donnie’s short list for federal AG.

        He recently sued Starbucks for having too many DEI hires (females!). He has refused to release prisoners after overturned convictions, attempted unsuccessfully to restrict gender-affirming care, unsuccessfully battled initiatives that restored access to abortion in Missouri. He is always hitting up the legislature for more money to hire more attorneys for his quixotic quests.

        In a debate in Clayton MO between Elad Gross (Dem), Bailey (Rep) and Will Scharf (Rep), Groos beat up Scharf pretty well and Bailey just didn’t show. Scharf is the Trump lawyer you see handing the EO binders to Donnie to sign. I was there with a couple of Dem advisors, my farmer buddy from Southern Mo and a federal attorney. The attorney had been in court with each one and said Gross and Scharf are formidable but Bailey is a cipher.

    SpaceX rocket explodes, raining debris from sky for second time in a row

    SpaceX confirmed the un-crewed ship had suffered “a rapid unscheduled disassembly” during its ascent into space, and lost contact with the ground.

    The massive SpaceX Starship, the largest rocket ever created, spun out of control shortly after its launch. No injuries or damage have been reported but images from those in Caribbean Sea island nations show fiery debris raining from the sky.

    Four area airports were shut down temporarily. This is the second consecutive Starship lauunch to result in explosion.
