    A D.C. federal appeals court on Friday handed the Trump administration a temporary victory, overturning district court rulings that ordered the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) Gwynne Wilcox and the Merit Systems Protection Board’s Cathy Harris to be reinstated.

    Earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell ordered NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox to be reinstated after her dismissal by President Donald Trump earlier this year.

    Friday’s ruling halts both reinstatements while the case proceeds.

    Florida lawmakers are considering major changes to state child labor laws that would loosen restrictions on when and how long teens can work, as the state braces for a shortage of migrant workers under GOP-led immigration crackdowns.

    A state Senate panel narrowly advanced a proposal Tuesday to eliminate regulations that bar 16- and 17-year-olds from working jobs before 6:30 a.m. or after 11 p.m. on school days, working more than eight hours on school days and working more than 30 hours a week while in school. The proposal also would end a requirement that teens receive at least 30-minute meal breaks when they work eight-hour shifts.

    Donnie withdrew the nomination of Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY, 21st District) for UN Ambassador since her seat would have been subject to an special election!

    Maybe Elon Musk (R-Mars) can give a Tesla to each Repub voter in the 21st District? That way, Elise could get her Ambassadorship and trump could keep a Republican House seat. Win-win.

    A busy week for Trumplandians!!

    A US resident was kidnapped in Massachusetts. No charges were offered; no explanation given. Ostensibly, the Israeli government is operating in the US to kidnap those who protest against Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. It sends a message: Shut up or disappear!! This is America.

    SOMERVILLE, Mass. (AP) — A Turkish national and doctoral student at Tufts University has been detained by U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents without explanation, her lawyer said Wednesday.

    Rumeysa Ozturk, 30, had just left her home in Somerville on Tuesday night when she was stopped, lawyer Mahsa Khanbabai said in a petition filed in Boston federal court.

    Video obtained by The Associated Press appears to show six people, their faces covered, taking away Ozturk’s phone as she yells and is handcuffed.

    “We’re the police,” members of the group are heard saying in the video.

    A man is heard asking, “Why are you hiding your faces?”

    So, trump security and military officials used an insecure “chat” program to discuss sensitive operational details of an attack on Houthi rebels in Yemen. Israel is pissed. As are former US military pilots.

    Israel provided the US with critical intelligence from an on-the-ground source in Yemen that was later leaked as part of the SignalGate scandal, according to a report.

    In the Signal messages, national security adviser Mike Waltz told top Trump administration officials that intelligence had a “positive ID” of the Houthis’ “top missile guy” entering a building that was hit in the US airstrikes.

    Privately, Israeli officials complained to Washington that Waltz’s message about that intelligence went public, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a US official.

    Amateurish and reckless. Do you believe sophisticated intelligence agencies (e.g, Russia, Iran, China) might be able to intercept this?
