Oh Noes: Orange Man Bad To Remove Nearly 200 Year Old Magnolia Tree From White House

This is so horrible!

White House to remove magnolia tree dating to Andrew Jackson

The White House will remove from its property a magnolia tree planted nearly 200 years ago with seeds said to have been brought from former President Jackson’s home in Tennessee.

Horrible! Of course, this is simply a TDS clickbait headline from The Hill, one meant for those suffering from TDS to see it and rage at Trump, without bothering to read the article, which was up near the top of page

President Trump announced Sunday that, after consulting with the Executive Residence Staff and the National Park Service, the administration has decided to replace the tree, saying it poses a safety hazard.

“The bad news is that everything must come to an end, and this tree is in terrible condition, a very dangerous safety hazard, at the White House Entrance, no less, and must now be removed,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, noting that the “good news” is that his administration is “making tremendous enhancements to the White House.”

They been trying to save the tree for decades, but, it is toast. Trees do die. This is really much ado about nothing. Remember the complete freakout over Melania wanted to utterly destroy the rose garden, which was created in 1913? But, it ended up being them tearing it all up and making it more modern and replanting everything? Much like Jackie Kennedy did in the early 60s.

And everyone wonders why the media has lost all trust. And all the TDS, like this

Yeah, they were MIA with all that, and more. They sure didn’t have any criticism of Biden nor Obama.

The removal of a tree planted by Andrew Jackson, the first and only President to pay off the national debt, in 1836, tells us that the national debt will never be paid off.

During the first term of President Reagan the debt/GDP dropped to the lowest since before WWII (where “good” spending/debt defeated the Nazis/Japs!). President Reagan/Bush-1 reduced taxes and increased military spending, doubling the national debt/GDP. As is well known, President Clinton and a GOP Congress actually CUT the debt/GDP ratio while overseeing a solid economy!! Spending on invasions (Iraq/Afghanistan), real estate collapse/Great Recession, tax cuts, and the Covid pandemic throughout 2000-2024 led us to today (~ 125% of GDP with interest payments approaching $1 TRILLION/yr!).

Most of our ~ $37 trillion debt is owed to… drumroll… American investors. We owe Japan and China about $1 trillion each. In fact, outside governments hold about $8 trillion of our debt. America owes Social Security, the DOD and USPS about $7 trillion (“intergovernmental” debt).

Our debt is made up of Treasury bonds and notes, which are purchased by banks, insurance companies, state and local governments, foreign governments and private investors. Why do people and governments invest in the US? You know the answer.

Always enjoy Rimjob rants about the national debt where he excludes the Obama-Biden reign of fiscal irresponsibility.

        It’s to laugh.

The Lil Pissant missed the part about the debt increasing from 2000 to 2024 when both Presidents Obama and Biden were in office.

The Lil Pissant continues his obsession with us, but not with facts. Sad.

Mr Teach dishonestly attributed qualities to The Hill that the article didn’t express. Mr Teach is just triggering his hapless readers. Sad.

Big Orange IS a bad man, but that’s irrelevant to this case. The explanation sure seemed valid about why the tree had to be removed (with another one to be planted). Why this reached the level that the Orange Man would squawk about it on “Truth” Social is open for discussion.
