Who could possibly believe that Trump has signed a new treaty with the Taliban ? Better to first check before questioning it

The Trump administration’s new tack can be attributed to its transactionalism. Its limited objectives in Afghanistan include the release of remaining captive U.S. citizens and the return of U.S.-made weapons. There are other things that the White House may want later, such as assistance on counterterrorism. (Both the Taliban and the United States see the largely Afghanistan-based Islamic State-Khorasan, or IS-K, as a threat.)

One rumor is that the US is seeking a staging area in case an attack on Iran is needed.

    WINNING!!

The Supreme Court has ruled that a Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador must be returned to the U.S.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, 29, was taken into custody on March 12 and was later deported to a Center for Terrorism Confinement in El Salvador.

The opinion states that Abrego Garcia must be given due process and a chance to challenge the accusations against him. The court also says the Trump administration must ensure that Abrego Garcia’s court case is handled as it would have been had he not been “unlawfully removed” to El Salvador.
