Pope Francis uses first US TV interview to slam climate change deniers
Pope Francis spoke out against climate change deniers, calling them ‘fools’ in his first ever interview on American television.
The often ‘progressive’ pontiff spoke with CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell at the Vatican this week to give his thoughts on violence in Ukraine and Gaza and other important subjects.
However, he made a pointed effort to express his displeasure with those who deny climate change when asked what he says to those who deny it by O’Donnell.
‘There are people who are foolish, and even foolish if they show you them research. they don’t believe it,’ he said through an interpreter.
‘They don’t understand the situation or because of their interest, but climate change exists,’ he added.
I missed the part where he slammed O’Donnell for taking a long, fossil fueled flight to do the interview instead of doing it through Zoom or something. Or saying that he would stop taking fossil fueled flights. And make the Vatican carbon neutral.
The wild part is, while talking about the climate scam, Ukraine, and Gaza (does he understand that the hardcore Islamists would like to erase Christianity, and have tried many times?), he doesn’t actually talk that much about Jesus, the Bible, being Catholic. And why he’s blowing of the 10 Commandments about things like having no other Gods before God.
Yikes! The intensely anti-catholic Teach lets fly at the Pope, who recognizes the threat of global warming.
Relax, Teach. Mr 47, the one true God, has decreed that global warming is a scam, and the United States will not spend a penny on research or mitigation*. So, relax, sit back and enjoy your tax cuts.

global warmingclimate change, but that doesn’t make him “anti-Catholic”. Many of the faithful disagree with the Bishop of Rome on some political and religious issues. I don’t recall you calling our 46th President “intensely anti-Catholic” because he wanted to not only not only continue the practice of pre-natal infanticide but at one point seemed to be working toward having the federal government pay for such.Our host is such a nice guy to us mackerel snappers that he maintains this poor Catholic’s blog when I go on vacation! It’s not a country. It’s not even a city. It is a small part inside another city that is connected to the national grid of Italy. They have no industry. They have no power generation. They have no agriculture. They have no free markets. They are a religious version of Disneyland (not the much larger Disneyworld). To say they are 99% renewable is meaningless as well as trivial.
To put it in perspective, the High School I went to was larger, more complex, used more energy, and had a higher average daily population. No one cared if the principal of that talked about the power bill, unless he failed to pay it.

The commenter attacked the Pope, accusing him of using global warming to distract from the Church’s sexual abuse scandal and coverup.
