In the future, books could be made from plastic… using oil. Then they won’t rot or be eaten by insects. Of course, Democrats will still try to make the content in the book about how to groom your 4-year old.
Having a large private library used to be a symbol of wealth and status because it also implied education. Now it’s just a fake backdrop for people’s Zoom calls.
It is very true that my library does not look nearly as good as it once did, as we got rid of a lot of books when downsizing, but, thanks to Jeff Bezos, I have a pretty substantial library in my Kindle.
A conundrum.
