Jeez, these Conservative Miers haters need to take a big chill pill. They are all saying "this was a chance to change the direction of the makeup of the Supreme Court, moving it Conservative." Partially right. This was a chance to make the Court what it should be: a neutral branch of the government that rules by the Constitution, rather then by their political affiliation and/or feelings. Rule of law.
