Obama Offers GOP Advice On Governing. No, Really. Stop Laughing, You’ll Hurt Yourself

Thank you Politico for publishing the funniest story of at least the past month. It’s not quite as delusional as the one about Nancy Pelosi (Pelosi and company being delusional, not the Politico, and, make sure to check out Nancy P’s San Francisco), but, well, you have to see this

President Obama offered a lesson for Republicans that he learned the hard way during his first two years in office.

“Campaigning is different than governing,” Obama told reporters Sunday when asked about his meeting with GOP leaders later this week.

Why, yes, it is. When are you going to actually stop doing the former and start doing the latter, chump? Actually, strike that, you’ve done quite enough damage while continuing the Neverending Campaign after your coronation, Lord knows what you would do if you actually acted like The President. Why don’t you go play golf or something everyday? Wander around the country looking for the best waffles and cheeseburgers. That sounds fun, right, Barry? How about a world wide trip for the next two years that hits all the best golf courses? Would cost the American people a whole heck of a lot less than your outsourced legislation.

“They are flush with victory after a campaign of just saying ‘No,'” he added. “But I’m sure the American people did not vote for more gridlock.”

Gridlock? How is it “gridlock” when the Democrat Congress passed so much of their America killing legislation? But, yes, the American people did vote for gridlock whenever it blocks the agenda of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) and yourself.

Obama, who said in India that Republican gains in Congress will require him to make some “midcourse corrections,” blamed his mishandling of politics for his Democratic losses – not his policies.

He vowed to work to make sure his policies are better understood by Americans.

Oh, no, Sparky, we understand your policies very well. But, doesn’t that sound like someone more interested in being in a campaign mode, rather than a governance mode? Joe Biden was 100% correct when he said “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe (Obama) is, the presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.”

Thanks. Now there’s coffee all over my desk.
Hahahahhahahaha. No kidding, governing is different from campaigning? When did HE get the memo, because as far as I can tell, he hasn’t Stopped campaigning, period.
But it’s nice of him to share that revelation with his new best friends. Hope he can keep that in mind for a little while, you know, and possibly achieve some POSITIVE and not dangerous policy for once.

  2. Sorry about the coffee, Trish :)

Obama is truly delusional, is he not?

I watched a little of Huckabee last night who stated that he believes in the “Governmental Hippocratic Oath” of “first, do no harm to the government and the people.”

We can debate whether he himself adhered to that principle, but the principle itself is sound.

Americans would prefer gridlock to the continued destruction of the country, people’s rights, and the economy that we have witnessed under O’Bama and his merry band of leftists on the Hill.
