Cow tipping gone to far
Two Rocky Mount teenagers were charged Thursday with stealing six cows from an Edgecombe County farm.
Thomas Alston Rose, 18, and Travis Wayne Robinson, 19, both of the 2500 block of Bridgewood Drive were charged with felony larceny of cattle and possession of stolen property. Both suspects were jailed under $35,000 bonds each.
I suppose cow stealing is serious stuff, considering their value, and the fact that they are someone’s livelihood. But, the more I think about this, the more I think the story has the makings of a first rate comedy!

They’re lucky they didn’t do this in Texas. Cattle rustling is still a hanging offense.
It’s getting hard to find stories with numbers.
