Former U.S. vice-president and 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Al Gore, will be in Costa Rica on March 16 to talk to a business forum on the issues relating to climate change.
Gore will be taking part in the Foro Empresarial sobre Sostenibilidad y Ambiente (Business Forum on the Environment and Sustainability) that will be held at the Marriott Hotel in San José.
A flight from Knoxville, Tn. to San Jose, Costa Rica puts out approximately 1,391 pounds of CO2. That’s about 1/9th the CO2 the average home puts out all year long, when you factor in the return flight.
