Earlier in the day, I caught Jammie Wearing Fool discussing Obama’s weekly radio address, to which JWF writes

You figure with chaos around the globe the leader of the free world would take the opportunity to discuss the myriad crises during his weekly address, right? Uh, no, he’s in campaign mode. Don’t distract him with these mundane events in Japan or Libya.

What did Barry discuss? Equal pay for women. An important subject, but, one might have thought other issues would have been important. Of course, Obama’s really mailing it in with his tone deafness

President Obama just could not wait for spring weather to arrive.

For the second week in a row, the most powerful man in the world stepped away from the White House to hit the golf course.

Even as his administration and the U.S. military help Japan recover from a devastating earthquake, and as the world worries about Fukushima’s nuclear reactor, the president could not resist taking advantage of the 48-degree weather in the Washington, D.C., area.

Remember when Bush gave up golf because it gave a bad appearance, being in two wars, a fight against Islamic terrorism, and a minor blip in the economy? Good thing we aren’t still fighting two wars, dealing with Islamic terrorism, having a “blip” in the economy…..huh? We are? Goodness?

Add that to terrible unemployment, a devaluing dollar, an out of control deficit and debt, too much government spending, Libya, Japan, uprisings in the Middle East, and so much more. Then again, the more time Obama spends on the golf course, the less time he has to screw things up both domestically and internationally.
