My question is what States will these ads be used?
Sen. John Kerry is portrayed as a sweater-wearing poodle with a pink bow in an upcoming advertising campaign by the National Rifle Association, mocking his attempts to portray himself as friendly to gun sports and saying, “That dog don’t hunt.”
“John Kerry says he supports sportsmen’s rights. But his record says something else,” the ads say.
Billboards and newspaper ads will run this week, followed by TV commercials, Chris W. Cox, the group’s chief lobbyist, said Wednesday. The NRA also plans to emblazon the slogan and the poodle on mailings, hats and T-shirts.
Kerry has been consitently on the wrong side of 2nd Amendment Rights votes. I really do not care if he has been an avid hunter since he was 12. Me, I am not a hunter. I do not own a gun. I enjoy shooting them when I get the opportunity. But the 2nd Amendment is the 2nd Amendment. If I want to own a weapon, it is my Right to do that, without Kerry’s interference.
Do we really need private ownership of certain weapons, and types of bullets? No. But the Constitution provides for that Right, whether we like it or not. A little article from the NRA.
Perhaps Kerry could also explain his slip about owning a Chinese Assault Weapon?
Kerry is the most shiftless, opportunistic buffon to run for president since Al Gore.
Nice ads — but I think the gun issue is dead. I keep meeting more and more people like me that simply say, “It doesn’t matter what laws they pass or what they ban, they’re not getting my guns.”
Because of massively intrusive government, I break laws every single day. Why would one more affect me?
