Despite winning a Nobel Prize and an Oscar for his work in the global warming area, most voters don’t consider former Vice President Al Gore an expert on the subject.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that just 24% of voters consider Gore an expert on global warming. Fifty-nine percent (59%) do not think Gore is an expert on the subject, an increase in skepticism of 12 points since March 2007. Another 18% are not sure. While a plurality of Democrats (43%) considers Gore an expert on global warming, most Republicans (80%) and voters not affiliated with either major political party (65%) disagree.
Oh, and
Gore may disagree, but most voters believe solar activity has an impact on global cooling and warming. A narrow plurality gives human activity the edge over sun activity, though, when it comes to which one has a bigger impact on the problem.
So, we still have some work to do in order to remove the brainwashing put in place, forcing people to use their reason to learn that the “science” of anthropogenic global warming is mostly or solely bunk. They need to learn that the “science” is really anti-science.
24%?
That is scary high.
And that is the 24% who vote on pure emotion. who vote based on nothing else but… nothing. Who vote for people JUST because of their skin color, because of grand promises given, and because of fear of the unknown – which is that which they refuse to acknowledge (ie; education).
Institutionalization will almost certainly be required.
And about .01% of that 24% actually practice what they and Gore preach.
Institutionalization will almost certainly be required.
Wait.. I’ve heard that somewhere before.
