Good News! Occupy Santa Cruz Has Ringworm And Scabies

Just like the Tea Party! Via OWS Exposed from Gateway Pundit

(Santa Cruz Sentinel) ….Instead, they said the injunction they are seeking through a lawsuit filed last week would give them the authority to remove the campsite at a later date while they work with Occupy representatives to keep San Lorenzo Park free of drugs, alcohol and human feces. (big snip)

In addition to problems with human waste, Lane said tents and other structures have taken a toll on the park’s grass. Illegal activities such as alcohol use have continued, officials said.

Police issued four tickets from Friday to Monday morning to people smoking in the park and having an open flame, police spokesman Zach Friend said. One woman also was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Sheriff’s deputy April Skalland said deputies have issued 16 tickets for illegal lodging and arrested seven people around the protest since Oct. 7. The arrests have been for being drunk in public, being under the influence of drugs, and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, Skalland said.

Police said there have been reports of ringworm and scabies at the camp in recent days. County officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment about health conditions at the camp.

Remember this happening at Tea Party rallies? No? Never?

Two of the most common forms of ringworm infection are athletes foot and jock itch. One can avoid this be changing ones’ socks and underwear at least once a day, and washing ones clothes. Don’t share clothing, towels, and sheets. Gee, everything the Occupiers do not do.

Oh, then there’s this, from LA

Five people at the Occupy L.A. encampment have been charged with separate crimes, including a man who allegedly exposed himself and commited a sex act in front of a child, officials said Tuesday.

The other crimes were battery, resisting arrest, and assault with a deadly weapon. Such great people mainstream liberals, as well as elected Democrats, have aligned themselves with.

I was talking with a friend today who said her husband couldn’t find any difference between the Tea Party and the OWS crowd. In fact, she said her husband – a conservative – said as a family they needed to support the OWS group because they were doing something.

When my friend reminded him that part of what the OWS crowd was doing was rape, murder, assault and destruction of property, he said that any crowd does that.

She pointed him to the computer and said “find where the Tea Party did any of that.”

He is still looking, but even without any proof or documentation, he still believes the OWS group is better for the country than the Tea Party.

BTW – he owns his own business and complains about the taxes, pay rates, perks and regulations he is forced to pay, but still thinks the OWS group is the way to go.

Luckily, he has had a vasectomy and cannot reproduce.

Yikes Git, that was a really scary story, and one I have heard from so many of my liberal friends, but so far not from my conservative ones. My lib brother, a supposed historian says that OWS is like any other revolution, and we ought to support it. REALLY Kev? Are you insane, or has alzheimers struck you early? He also (lives in ST Louis) says he saw some pretty awful stuff at the Tea Parties there. Rrrrrright. Sure ya did.

This is a great press release-found it on Black & Right, and it’s one I hope everyone eventually reads!

  3. That’s part of what being a liberal is about, GT: hypocrisy. And that everyone else must suffer, just not themselves. I know a few libs like that, too.

The libs just look the other way when it comes to what they themselves do, Trish. Or find a way to rationalize it.
