Because You Took A Fossil Fueled Trip For Christmas, The World Might End

I have to wonder if people a couple hundred years in the future will look back on the AGW doom craze and laugh, much as we look back at doomsayers of the past

Climate Change: Will Global Warming Create “The End Of The World”

Again, if the phrase “climate change is mentioned, we aren’t discussing science, we’re discussing politics. Anyhow, blah blah blah, standard Warmist complaints, mentions of consensus, evil CO2, blah blah blah

What it all boils down to is this. Human activity on the planet earth has a direct correlation to global warming, as all evidence points to the fact that greenhouse gases are responsible for the rising global temperatures of recent decades.

What caused the previous warm periods? Hey, how about the end of the last glacial period?

Earth has seen a major in increase in the frequency of earthquakes measuring 5.0 or larger on the Richter scale, and combined with recent volcanic activity leads one to wonder if this all isn’t connected somehow.

One can also wonder if meth usage increases brain power.

If things don’t change soon, perhaps we will see the end of the world as we know it. One thing’s for certain, we need to reduce the amount of fossil fuels that we burn on this planet, in an effort to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Hopefully this will reverse the effects of global warming to some degree.

Good luck with that. Warmists certainly won’t reduce their own usage. I’m betting the story writer doesn’t walk or ride Gaia friendly bicycles to visit his kids in Nevada.

All we can know is that human activity has “some effect” upon the atmosphere. There are ways that our actions can cause cooling and warming of our local environments. After thousands of years, there is no, absolutely no correlation at all to tie human activity to any kind of global temperature increases or decreases.

Earth has seen a major in increase in the frequency of earthquakes measuring 5.0 or larger on the Richter scale, and combined with recent volcanic activity leads one to wonder if this all isn’t connected somehow.

I blame butterflies. Or mosquitos. But I’m leaning toward butterflies. Kill all butterflies.

If that volcano doesn’t stop spewing lava, it will cover the world. IF that ocean wave doesn’t stop at the beach it will wash all over the earth. If that snow flake doesn’t stop at the earth’s surface it will fall all the way though the earth. IF that rainfall hits hard enough, it could stop the rotation of our planet causing all matter in the universe to explode in a matter of 5 minutes.

to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

Yes, because CO2 is an evil and horrible gas destroying our atmosphere. Why do we need plants anyway. Get rid of plants and all CO2 expiring organisms.

Hopefully this will reverse the effects of global warming to some degree.

Good thing our earth has not gotten warmer in last 16 years, nor has gotten as cold as the ice age, or as hot as the Roman Warm Period. Cause, having us produce as much CO2 as we did back then which caused the heat AND the cold, would be really bad now.

Merry Christmas and a Happy Climate Change New Year!!

fossil fuels are on the way out already most Americans are looking at coal as some sort of Victorian Age energy source. Solar is coming on strong cost is dropping electric and hybrid vehicles are doing well. The Teach laughed at Volt sold better than 50% of the car models sold in the USA http://www.forbes.com/sites/jimgorzelany/2012/09/24/august-chevrolet-volt-sales-redefine-failure/ All the major about builders know that electric electric hybrid cars are the future..

Poor John, he doesn’t understand that the Volt didn’t meet sales expectations and in fact the sales were propped up by forcing inventory on dealers and by government purchases.

John wants to equate the sale of what is billed as a family car with sales of sport cars and luxery cars that cost much much more.

John’s next repeated (and false) meme is that the Navy is looking into putting Volts on the North Pole.

Oh, and John? Solar has bogged down and there is no solar farm or source that has met output expectations.

And don’t forget the half-life of Windmills has been shown to be, ironically enough, half of what the manufacturers and promoters claimed it was. Instead of an average 20 year life span, many are lucky to get 10 years of effective use. Most are no longer economical to run even before 10 years.
