Obviously, this drives the open-minded Left bat guano insane
(Topeka Capital-Journal) With the Kansas State Board of Education preparing to vote on new science standards this year, the House Education Committee has introduced a bill asking schools to include evidence against climate change in science classes.
House Bill 2306, introduced last week, says science classes must “provide information to students of scientific evidence which both supports and counters a scientific theory or hypothesis.â€
The bill says instruction about “scientific controversies†should be objective and include “both the strengths and weaknesses of such scientific theory or hypothesis.†The only controversy identified in the bill is “climate science.â€
Imagine that students are provided with all the different opinions and scientific information and are allowed to make up their own minds as to what caused this current warm period. The horror!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it’s horror to Think Progress, which wants no part in providing all the facts and relevant information to anyone, lest people realize that the current warm period is primarily natural. Don’t want people knowing that the global temps have been essentially flatlined for the past 16 years, and have risen only .28F since 1990.
Kansas !! They also don’t believe in evolution or the age of the earth

The GOP is THE anti-science party. Under Bush Park Rangers were not allowed to tell people the age of the Grand Canyon for fear of offending the christianists who think it must have been made during the Great Flood of 4990 BC
The last poll of Americans had 80% believing that climate change was a serious problem.
How hot is it in the USA ? Well alligators used to be common only in Florida with a few in Georgia. Now they are finding them as far north as the Virginia border.
Science is a very specific thing john. When you throw out polls to say “that is science,” it only shows you aren’t interested in real science.
BTW – just a few weeks ago you were saying that 90% of the American people believed climate change was a serious problem. Now it is down to 80%.
Perhaps you should write “people rejecting climate change in large numbers.”
That’s your kind of science as well.
Well, you and I know that people like John are neither pushing science nor care about science. Most of them do not understand what science is. They are given a set of talking points to regurgitate (which they really do not understand, either) and their marching orders. People like John prove time and time again that they aren’t in it for the science. If they were, they wouldn’t think opinion polls were science.
Furthermore, if they actually cared about science, they would have no problem putting their hypothesis of “climate change” up against what we climate realists are putting out there. Alas, they know that their “science” cannot stand up against the truth, nor can their solutions be popular.
