Big Meanie Conservative Threatens Woman On Facebook

This is it. I renounce my Conservative Card. I’m so tired of Conservatives being the kind of people who would do this

(The Blaze) According to Wyoming’s Star-Tribune, on the non-university affiliated Facebook page UW Crushes, which has since been shut down, a post appeared last week that read:

“I want to hatef— Meg Lanker- so hard,” the Facebook post said. “That chick that runs her liberal mouth all the time and doesn’t care who knows it. I think its hot and it makes me angry. One night with me and shes gonna be a good Republican b—-.”

This controversial post Meg Lanker-Simons reported the post to university administrators and campus police, telling the Laramie Boomerang that as a rape survivor this is “one of the worst things someone can threaten.”

I mean, really, what the hell is the matter with you conservatives? The guy is probably a TEA Party member to boot…..um, oh, uh, wait

On Tuesday, though, it was revealed by University of Wyoming Police Department that they had cited Lanker-Simons herself for the threatening post. In a separate article, the Laramie Boomerang reported police obtained a warrant to search the student’s computer and found substantial evidence verifying that the offending Facebook post came from Lanker-Simons’ computer, while the computer was in her possession.”

That’s right, folks, another case of a Progressive ginning up an issue to make Conservatives look bad. So, obviously the University is going to hold sit ins decrying liberals intentionally creating false accusations designed to denigrate conservatives, right? They’ll hold teach ins regarding tolerance toward Conservatives and to not do things like Lanker-Simons did, right? Um, no

Regardless, the university has said that either way the issue has dredged up an important lesson, which is that UW has zero tolerance for violence of any kind.

“The fact that the Facebook post apparently was a fabrication does not change the necessity for continued vigilance in reassuring that we have a campus where everyone feels safe,” UW spokesman Chad Baldwin said in a statement. ”It’s important that this event does not undermine the progress that has been made in this area.”

As one Blaze commenter writes “It is not Reality that counts…it’s the seriousness of the charges.”

    What progress? Everything your teaching is going backwards! When your “teachers” are the ones pushing the most hate, then you need to progress backwards. Maybe rethink the purpose and reasons for your intentions.

    When your intention is to put everyone on a level playing field, make everyone the same\equal, but you spend all of your time and energy and emotion vilifying one group and defending all the actions of another, then you’ve failed.

    Again, liberalism is a sick mental disease.

    I think Meg needed some attention. This linked story seems to be saying she is being accused of posting that herself. Spray the hate!

    Oh, thanks for that link ShotT. From there we get:

    some sources claiming to have spoken to her say that she denies the allegations and that she also denies having admitted to making the post.

    The UW statement expands the allegation, saying “Lanker-Simons received the citation as a result of false statements she made to the UW Police Department. The UWPD investigation concluded that she was responsible for the post on the now-dismantled ‘UW Crushes’ Facebook site in which she ostensibly was targeted as a potential victim of sexual violence.”

    University of Wyoming Police have issued a citation to Meg Lanker-Simons for a charge of interference. According to the citation “Subject admitted to making a controversial post on UW Crushes webpage and then lied about not doing it.”

    And you know PC has gone way too far when you read this:

    The post stated that the author would like to copulate with Lanker-Simons in an angry manner.

    A demonstration and protest against rape culture, spurred by the UW Crushes Facebook incident, happened Monday on the UW campus. Lanker-Simons was a speaker at the event, where she called out the the anonymous poster.

    Protest organizer Amy Pauli said in an interview before the event, that while the UW Crushes Facebook post had been the catalyst for the event, it went beyond that.

    “It’s not just about the page. It’s about the way rape-culture becomes fostered among students,” said Pauli.
    Or is it that you just like to draw attention to yourselves?

    It is not only “who” posted the thing, but look at the reaction.

    First, the University says “it doesn’t matter who posted it right now…… what matters is that people feel safe on campus.”

    Fair and reasoned, in my opinion.

    The police say “we interviewed her and searched her computer in conjunction with a warrant and have substantial information she made the offending post and then lied about it.”

    The liberal response is “oh no! No one would ever lie and do this!”

    One again we see reasonable responses and facts not mattering to the emotions from the left.

    Lanker-Simons also has detractors. She and former 1960s radical Bill Ayers sued UW in 2010 to allow Ayers to speak on campus about education issues. Lanker-Simons and Ayers won the case, and Ayers spoke on campus later that year. Many people were outraged at Lanker-Simons. She claimed to have received death threats.

    It would seem we have a real wiener. (I may have mispelled a word there)

    Woh, she’s married?!?!!?!?!?!?
