All I see is a girl in a bikini ruining a beer with a piece of lime. And global warming of course. I see lots of that in the photo.
If only we could yadda yadda yadda things and bing bong the lalalalala, global warming would be solved.
Yes, I realize those aren’t real words. But I wasn’t discussing a real problem, so it all works out in the end.
Thanks for the link sir!
DAMN!
Just…
Damn!
Tornado on Monday afternoon, struck 1/2 mile north of my place. I can’t get home.
Please, everyone, pray for us. Tuesday will get bad as well. Please pray for the kids who got killed in the elementary school. This is bad folks. Worse than the May 3, 1998 tornado that wiped out parts of Moore then too.
Gumball,
Are you near the Moore, OK area?
Yep, I live across the street, southward from that Plaza Towers school that was demolished. My son, thank god, who works at LOWES Hardware store which is just next door to the theater that was hit (also next to the moore hospital hit as well), was off work today and decided to drive out of town.
My mom almost got nailed from this tornado, and almost got hit by that one back in May 3, 1998 as well. this one was closer – a few blocks away.
The reason I ask is that I have good friends in Ardmore.
Stay safe.
Are they OK? Big storms blew through there as well.
Tomorrow will be bad as well.
All I see is BAD photography with amateurish use of auto-white-balance messed up by a backlit subject that could have been easily prevented by use of spot-metering and manual settings.
I didn’t look at those ripe young boobers or leopard print crotch gap. Nope.
You doing OK, GB? Friends and family? You keep a watchful eye out, there’s possibility of more today. Stay safe, and my prayers with you and everyone in the area.
Yep, most of my family are good. No power or water in most of Moore. Have not heard from one Uncle, but he is the type to not let anyone know and then camp out at house and watch the traffic.
I’m not going to be able to get to my place for a few days as it is in the destruction area, but hopefully it was far enough south that it escaped. But, not much reason to head home right now.
Here is a perfect example of the Oklahoma Spirit. Please note all the cuts and bruises this woman received later on in the video. http://t.co/KgPZd1STNS
And think of this, think of a triangle with it pointing to the right. Top angle is the Moore Hospital, bottom point is the Warren Theater, and the right\top point is a bowling alley. The tornado went in middle of triangle straight toward the bowling alley from left to right. The glancing blow was strong enough to wipe out the hospital. A further 1/4 mile north of the triangle was a 7-11 store. It was wiped out and 3 people died there. 7-8 survived there. Even the cooler and freezer is gone.
The mile section is from 4th street on north to 19th street on south. The school was on the lower section and about 1/4 mile north of 19th street. All the stores along the north side of 19th street are gone as well as most all the homes in that mile section.
As the tornado left the hospital and theater and bowling alley, it crossed I-35 and destroyed, smashed and compacted a number of cars there. Smashed several into the concrete barrier in the media and disintegrated the barrier.
As it crossed over the highway and went further through Moore, it’s destructive path narrowed over the next 5-10 miles. While most media attention is focused on the schools, the theater and the hospital, there are HUNDREDS of homes that were blown away. There were 3 schools hit. The third a jr high on east side of Moore that got a glancing blow, but power line poles (big ones) were felled across the street and parent’s cars as they were trying to pick up their kids before storm hit.
Like with Joplin, most of Moore is on pause as people continue to pull themselves up.
But like I mentioned earlier. We will be up and running in no time. Probably will be rebuilt before the homes from Hurricane Sandy.
M.E.’s office has revised the death toll down to 24. Due to communication issues many reports were triplicated.(?) 24 so far, 9 of which were kids. 7 from the Plaza Towers school.
Keep praying. Search and rescue is still underway.
Wait, you’re from Moore, OK, Gumball? We are adversaries! We used to live in Dallas. We made fun of Oklahomans, and got made fun of in return the whole time we lived there.
You smell! Yeah, I know it’s a lame burn, but in my defense it’s 3AM and I’m really tired.
yeah, well, you Texans are horrible drivers. So there!
Hehe. This doesn’t really work because I hate Texans too (hate/respect. My Dad and brother are now Texans. They totally suck, btw. Sheesh. Texans.)
