NRCC Creates Fake Dem Websites Ahead Of Midterms

Democrats will call this a dirty trick. I call this brilliant. Might Republicans have finally realized that there is this Internet thingy?

(Daily Caller) The National Republican Congressional Committee is using a little internet espionage ahead of the 2014 mid-term elections by creating websites named for Democratic candidates to highlight the less-favorable aspects of their campaigns.

The committee is responsible for at least 15 websites mimicking Democrats’ campaign sites for Congress, and the NRCC isn’t denying it – the committee is publicly endorsing it.

“The idea is people who are looking for information on the candidate, one of the places we all go now is online and so this is a way for folks to find out more about the candidates and information they may not find on the candidate’s own site,” NRCC press secretary Daniel Scarpinato told CNN.

They should do this for every competitive House and Senate race. Individual Republicans, at both the federal and state levels, should do this for their opponents.

JohnLewis4congress.com, the Republican alternate of the Montana Democrat’s montanansforlewis.com, is one of hundreds of URL’s using the names of Democratic candidates considered weak in the upcoming election as part of a plan the NRCC will continue advancing throughout the year.

The NRCC, Republican campaigns, and even individual Conservative groups can invest a couple hundred bucks, tops, to purchase multiple domain names, and have them all direct to one website which explains the real positions of Democrat candidates. Make sure they are constantly updated, use SEO, and, hey, even create a fake Twitter persona that tweets at least a few times a day. Make sure people know what Democrats really stand for.

If Democrats start whining, which they will invariably do, point out that politics is a rough business, and to stop whining like a 5 year old who wants a cookie before dinner.

Is anyone surprised by this? Voter suppression, gerrymandering, fake websites – the ends justify the means for the far-right because you feel the stakes are so high! The only moral thing for you to do is to take “your” country back from “those” people!

We understand the shameless nature of the modern RWNJ, but imagine asking a class-room of 4th graders if it’s OK to create fake websites so you trick people out of their money.

  2. jl says:

“Voter suppression, gerrymandering…” Data, please. Remember, voter id is just your opinion of “suppression”. We think it enhances the integrity of the voting process. And “gerrymandering”- gee nobody’s done that before. Least of all Democrats, right? So, data.

  3. gitarcarver says:

    Voter suppression?

Oh yeah. We have seen that with democrats faking registrations which effectively suppress votes of people.

    Gerrymandering?

Yeah. We have have seen that before as well from Democrats.

    Fake websites?

First, the websites are not “fake.” They are real and the charge that they are “fake” only goes to show the fantasy world in which some people live. Secondly, the sites are clearly labeled as being from the RNCC, so there is no trickery involved.

So while people like Jeffery laud the president and the “biggest lie of the year,” he tries to paint others with false accusations.

We have seen that before as well from Democrats and liberals.

In J’s mind, anything that is not pro-socialist is fake and anti-american.

Sad, but that’s the state of most people’s intellect today.

I say, bout time the NRCC gets on this internet thingy. People been using it for a couple of days now to get their information and find out truths. Did you hear American Beiber was going to be deported for driving a car in florida?!?!??

  5. Jeffery says:

    gitar,

re fake: Read the Pirate’s headline, please.

Republican controlled swing states are working overtime to suppress the vote of blacks, poor, college students and Hispanics. And it’s working! You guys should own it at its Machiavellian best! It paves the way for the RWNJ minority imposing their will on the majority.

    Jeff,
You need more klonopin or lithium, which ever you are on, your paranoia is in full blossom. All that conservative want is voter ID, that is hardly suppression of the vote. In fact, all you have to do is read the web site and you will understand its purpose, most liberals have difficulty with reading. In fact, you other psychological character is transference. Look it up.

  7. gitarcarver says:

    Read the Pirate’s headline, please.

I did. I believe it is a misrepresentation and since that misrepresentation fit your perception, you were glad to sign off on it.

Republican controlled swing states are working overtime to suppress the vote of blacks, poor, college students and Hispanics.

Really? How are Republicans doing that? In states where voter ID are required, the percentage of minority voters has gone up. So once again your perception and the truth don’t line up.

  8. I believe it is a misrepresentation

    You’re banned!

See, this is the great thing about Conservatives. We can disagree without going moonbat. And you’re right, the headline is wrong. I edited it before posting with my Droid to say “spoof” instead of fake. I really hate the updated WordPress app. Keeps dropping changes.

Anyhow, I love how Jeff gets his mitts on insanity. Say, I wonder if Jeff will denounce the primarily Democrat voting state of Hawaii for requiring Voter ID?

  9. jl says:

Jeff- still waiting on your proof of voter suppression. But let me ask- if ids are required of everybody-whites and the victim groups you mentioned, how is that suppression if everyone has the same rules? Or don’t you think blacks and Hispanics and college students(?) have the same intelligence to be able to get ids, you know, the same kind of ids they already have to exist in this world? Why are you a racist, Jeffery?

  10. jl says:

Jeff- Did you see where the NAACP in North Carolina is requiring photo ids to be able to join the march against…voter id? Are these the idiots you’re “defending”?

  11. gitarcarver says:

    You’re banned!

See, this is the great thing about Conservatives.

    Darn.

Does that mean I can’t post here anymore? ;)

Actually, I tried wording the response in a way that would point out the “error.” I knew and trusted that you would say “ooops!”

The great thing about conservatives is not only that we can disagree, but that we can accept criticism and make changes in our thinking. A couple of months ago I got called out in a city council meeting for something I said that was wrong on my site. (I kid you not….. the city manager announced that I had screwed up. She never told me directly, but instead announced it the world.) I came home, corrected the mistake and apologized. Liberals wrote that my apology was not accepted.

I think what we see here with Jeffery and john is that liberals often times have no morals. Certainly we know they have no sense of humor or sense of accountability. The fact the Jeffery is complaining about a fake website while believing the “lie of the year” shows something very unpleasant in liberals.

  12. It’s very trouble-free to find out any matter on
web as compared to books, as I found this post at this
    website.
