Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. (BTW, since someone asked, the reason I leave links for the previous week up (or you might see a *) is because they are place holders for later in the day or for next weeks. Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit. If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.
We were under the impression that Denier dogma dictates that satellite data is pristine and not adjusted. As Dr. Spencer points out, that is just not true, and he’s an expert data adjuster. Just ask him about the earlier
problemsscandal he and Dr. Christyhadfomented with their adjustments to the UAH dataset (was it a coincidence that their adjustments reduced warming?). Other scientists had to correct their data for them.Satellites do not measure temperature (in contradistinction to what Denier Monckton once claimed). They do not carry thermometers that they drop on strings from a hundred miles up.
Deniers often repeat quotes from NASA about the quality of satellite temperature measurements – quotes from – you guessed it – Denier Doctors Christy and Spencer!

It’s analogous to Dick Cheney leaking false intel to the NYT and then using the resulting NYT story to support the administration’s public propaganda!
Fact 1. Our only Earth is warming rapidly.
Fact 2a. Humans are adding gigatons of CO2 to the atmosphere every year by burning fossil fuels.
Fact 2b. These activities have caused atmospheric CO2 to increase 40% from the steady levels during the Holocene.
Fact 3. Atmospheric CO2 molecules (and water vapor and methane etc) absorb infrared radiation emitted from the Earth and re-release it, slowing the loss of infrared radiation to space.
Facts 1, 2, 3 are indisputable. That’s why they are called facts.
The Theory of AGW incorporates these facts. Overwhelming evidence supports the Theory, little evidence is available to falsify the Theory.
ALERT – Trigger Warning for Deniers: The following sentences science-speak). By far the most likely explanation is that humans’ burning of fossil fuels is injecting gigatons of CO2 (and other gases) into the atmosphere. Up to this time, no evidence has been presented to falsify the Theory. There is at this time no other plausible explanation.
The italicized words leave open (scientifically) the possibility that the Theory of AGW can be falsified and that a plausible alternative scientific (not magical) explanation may be developed. Contrary evidence may be out there, it’s just not been presented. Contrary evidence may yet be discovered!
I just woke up to the news on the radio about Nancy Reagan passing. Such a wonderful lady. Unfortunately, since it was CBS news radio, they immediately launched into a long list of liberal accusations against her. Totally classless.
JGlanton,
I suspect you are lying about CBS reciting a long list of liberal accusations against Mrs. Reagan.
Lies! All lies! Spoken like the ideal Soviet apparatchik who must always force the alternate reality that his party is the force of freedom and prosperity. LOL, Jeffery is living proof that liberalism is a mental disease.
-the little guy who exaggerates often and thinks he knows more about the climate than Drs. Spencer and Christy by reading alarmist blogs like hotwhopper, Skeptical science, ….etc
Ah yes, the appeal to authority, the refuge of the right-wing authoritarian. Denier Docs Spencer and Christy are part of the 0.1% of climate scientists who have stayed Deniers since day 1.
Do you accept everything that a climate scientist writes? I don’t.
JGlanton,
No, I just think you are lying.
Thanks for linking to the metablog that contains a photo dump of Lucy Liu, a good measure of science, a bit of retro stuff and a small dash of Donald Trump. All the stuff cool cats need!
Still no evidence that the media went after Mrs. Reagan.
But the hateful right (redundant, I know) didn’t hesitate to use the death of Mrs. Reagan as an excuse to attack Michelle Obama, that Negress in the White House:
