There you go again, Jeffery. Please show me or tell me where to find this “tenet of Roman Catholicism” which is so “apparent” to you. I can’t find it. Now I admit I’m not a Catholic and I also have not spent much time reading Catholic law, so perhaps you have more experience there than I. I do know that there is no such tenet in any Christian law that I know of, and last time I looked Catholics considered themselves Christian so you got me stumped.
OTOH, there are such tenets in Islam and also tenets involving rape and sodomy of infants, children boys and girls as well as legal slavery of the same. If you like I can reprint them here for you or you can EASILY look them up yourself.
If you believe a religion that espouses the sanctity of life for millions of unborn children is vile then I believe you suffer from a morality problem.

Are you not familiar with the child abuse scandal that rocked the Catholic Church? The hierarchy protected the perpetrators and hid the acts from authorities. The entire Church was involved. Thousands of priests were involved abusing children as young as 3 yrs old and the church hierarchy covered it up rather than caring for the victims. It was a worldwide scandal, too. What kind of religion does that? Vile.
Some argue that since only several thousand priests were involved, it’s not a reflection on the religion itself. Others persuasively argue that since it was covered up by Bishops and Cardinals that it DID involve the religion proper.
It’s unlikely that all catholics support child molestation just as not all Muslims support the murder of non-believers.
