How can you tell if all the Black people helping support BLM or not?
Not many swastikas or confederate flags being waved either. Does that mean Nazis and Klansmen don’t help?
Do you still think the media was exaggerating the severity of the storm? The weather prognosticators DID appear to underestimate the amount of rain by a foot or so. Is tRump exaggerating? Governor Abbott?
Do you object to taxpayers’ hard earned money being spent on these folks? The GOP objected to President Obama’s recommendation to invest federal tax dollars in New York and New Jersey after Storm Sandy?
Should FEMA only assist those with proof of citizenship?
Governor Abbott recommended evacuations on Thursday, two days before the storm hit; Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said no, don’t evacuate.
YES! I’d include legal immigrants and residents among those FEMA and state and local agencies should assist, but we shouldn’t give one kopeck to illegals here. If their house has been washed away, then good, maybe they’ll have to head back to Mexico.
Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said Sunday in a press release that it offered the U.S. government any “help and cooperation that can be provided…as good neighbors should always do in times of difficulty.”
Well, how about you come pick up your citizens and make the job of rescuing our citizens easier.
Would you check their papers before plucking the children from the roofs? What if a Mexican looking man didn’t have their wallet with them – it’s a disaster after all = would you detain them, deport them or save the vigilantes a bullet by just letting them drown?

FEMA’s job isn’t plucking people off of rooftops; it’s providing after the fact disaster relief in rebuilding homes, infrastructure and businesses. Not one yuan should go to people here illegally for these things, and illegals requesting such assistance should be turned over to ICE.
