Following a headline-grabbing uproar, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pennsylvania, moved swiftly Friday to clarify earlier remarks that seemed to suggest the Iraq surge policy was working.
In other words, even CNN is calling BS on Murtha clarifying his remarks. As Ann Coulter once said “I’m upset when liberals quote me out of context. Liberals are upset when they are quoted in context.”
“Nothing’s gotten better. Incidents have increased,†he told Blitzer. “We have had more Americans killed in the last four months than any other period during the war.”

John, lighten up. Murtha is a class A, certified lying moron. He wishes he was ever a hero. For someone that never heard a bullit wiz by he talks a poor game. Every time I see him he just gets more pathetic than the last time. Between him begging his friends to recomend him for medals and Kerry writing himself up for his medals it is just sad. Murtha needs to be charged with treason and just shot. No reason to spend any money on a trial.
