There was a big update to WordPress. I don’t see any issues in in Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer (interestingly, I can see the Live Traffic widget on IE). Everything look fine on y’all end? My concern is about some code in core files that could have been automatically changed.

Looks okay to me.
I upgraded a few days ago and haven’t seen any issues on my site.
But do you ever get the feeling that some of the new, nifty and “cool” features that are available are ones that you will never use? Or even want to use?
Pretty much. This one was supposed to be mostly about dealing with themes. I haven’t touched mine in years and years. Remember the days when people used to update them all the time, and even have theme switchers? I keep a copy in 3 different places, because I’ve forgotten all the coding for this one, and, heck, how to do most of it.
The only thing I’ve screwed with recently is changing to SSL, and trying to get pop-up comments to work. Last doesn’t.
This is my concern, because somehow, I’ve lost the theme editing capability on my site: I’m afraid that if I update, I’ll lose and have to recreate everything.
I do remember the days of switching themes. I never understood it myself. I figured that if large newspapers and print publications don’t change often, why should I?
I am with you on the coding. I went to change something about 6 months ago in the code and it took awhile to find it.
Dana: theme editing should be easier now with the changes. Though, I will say, almost all theme changes I do are made at my test site through my ncdevil.com domain. If I do it here, it’s already been tested and developed there.
GC: it was fun developing lots of different things. I’ve had some awesome themes, I wish I had screenshots of them. Like this one. Though, would have to stretch out the header, or center it.
I’ve had ones which were even more Pirates of the Caribbean styled, had wild headers. In a few cases, WordPress broke them.
Safari seems good too,
Looking good in Opera.
Lookin’ good on Chrome.
Thanks, guys.
