Trump Calls Some Nations “Sh*tholes”: Isn’t That Why People Leave And Come To The U.S.A. Legally And Illegally?

This is the Media Freakout Of The Day, which will probably last at least through the weekend

Trump attacks protections for immigrants from ‘shithole’ countries in Oval Office meeting

President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they discussed protecting immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to several people briefed on the meeting.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to countries mentioned by the lawmakers.

As you’d expect, this is all over the news media, with #Resist outlets expressing their normal Outrage. Joe Scarborough is having his normal hissy fit. And all the blogs and small outlets are discussing. But, hey, what about

(Daily Caller) Fox News host Tucker Carlson defended President Donald Trump’s Thursday comments about immigrants coming to America from “shithole” countries, and said the media’s visceral outrage over the story was preposterous.

Carlson was speaking with Jose Parra, the Latin communications director for former President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and said he had visited Haiti and doesn’t understand why people were offend by Trump’s accurate characterization.

“The idea that you are not allowed to say that they’re pretty crummy countries, Haiti for example or El Salvador, I’ve been in both of them — that’s why people are leaving them to come here,” Carlson said. “So I don’t understand what the sin is. You’re not allowed to point out that other countries aren’t as good places to live as America?”

There’s plenty more at the link, including the video, but you get the idea: people are leaving their 3rd world shitholes developing nations (how many times have I written it that way?) to come to the United States illegally? Or simply doing things like traveling across the land and simply showing up, demanding asylum? How many Democrats are complaining about ending the programs that gave temporary protected status to people from places like Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Haiti, because those countries are too dangerous and too shithole for those who received temporary asylum to return to? That’s right, a lot of Democrats are complaining.

If they were nice countries, the people wouldn’t be leaving in droves. It’s cute how people who wear pink pussy hats, scream obscenities on a constant basis, call for impeaching and/or assassinating Trump, talk about punching Trump, etc and so on, get the vapors over calling shithole countries shithole countries.

BTW, Trump denies using the language

Biggest shithole on Earth today? Our White House.

    • drowningpuppies says:

      Nope, St. Louis.

      • Some Hillbilly in St Louis says:

STL is a shithole, Detroit is worse, the shithole parts of Chicago dwarf the shithole parts of the Loo. But yeah, you can get murdered pretty handy in a lot of STL.

        • Jeffery says:

We assume you are either from St. Charles or Arnold.

          • Some Hillbilly in St Louis says:

No, I’m from northeast IN, which is why I am so familiar with Detroit and Chicago. I live in STL county, but exclusively work downtown doing utility construction for mostly AmerEn. I am very familiar with bad neighborhoods in and around STL because I spend every day there.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she

Rumors are that Eric tRump is looking into auctioning off his dad’s Statue of Liberty, since it’s no longer relevant to the United States of tRump. There is a $1.3 billion bid from an unidentified Russian.

are you really the owner of this blog? It seems incredible that the owner doesnt ban you. So you must be the one who runs this blog and trolls people to get clicks to your site. I find it amazing that you post here at least a 100 times per day.

You are the reason I pretty much dont come here anymore. I’m finally saying what I have believed for quite some time now.

Read my lips. Its not what you say or how you say it. Its the fact I believe you are the owner of this blog trolling for clicks and that is why I dont come here when I refer to you. Your remarks fill every post over and over again as if you need a certain number of hits to keep your site relevant.

      • Jeffery says:

I’m the reason you don’t visit? Great! Are you sure I post here 100 times a day?

Anyway, I’m sure the Daily Stormer is happy to have you back.

TEACH: See the new meme developing?

I believe you are the owner of this blog trolling for clicks

Some of your denizens think I’m actually you, pretending to be me, to troll to get more traffic! I suspect this is an idea sweeping the right-wing-0-sphere to get right-wing blogs to ban dissent, much like the Gateway Pudendum does. It’s actually a clever ploy. Of course, Buddy is lying. He doesn’t believe it for a second.

As I’ve said before, I’m appreciative that TEACH allows contrary opinions to his frequent exaggerations and often mean-spirited posts. He can ban me any time he wishes. I only came here in the first place from a post of TEACHs that appeared at the Gateway Pudendum where the odious jimhoft had banned me (I had mentioned that the odious jimhoft was pimping the false “Whitey” tape, purportedly of First Lady Michelle Obama).

      • Jeffery says:

        Buddy,

You don’t come here anymore, yet here you are.

You don’t come here anymore, yet you claim I make 100 posts a day.

You’re like the Yogi Berra quote about a popular restaurant, “Nobody goes there anymore because it’s too crowded.”

      • It could be true. Some sites have sock puppets to help stir conversation, especially if that conversation results in clicking links and page views and ad revenues. It’s the same sort of accusation that Rush Limbaugh doesn’t really believe all the stuff he says. He just does it for ratings. and the scripted drama of unscripted “reality” shows. I have wondered why this site doesn’t have a lot more comments. I find the Jeff personal helpful in helping me be more tolerant of people with learning disabilities. I need to constantly remind myself that he doesn’t matter and it is OK if he is wrong about important things. And it doesn’t even matter that he sides with billionaires to kill poor people, because his opinions don’t really matter in the real world.

      • david7134 says:

        Buddy,
I agree with you, Jeff is Zone of the worst of trolls. But I think his ultimate goal is to destroy a good blog.

        • Jeffery says:

          dave,

Do you think it benefitted America and her people that the “president” called other nations SHITHOLES?

Are tRump’s actions in this case beyond criticism? The TEACH applauds tRump in this case. We don’t know (don’t care) if tRump is delirious, suffering from dementia or is just a vile asshole, his actions are harming the nation, although his white nationalist followers think this was a useful action.

We understand the fear that white nationalists such as you feel, that America is being overrun by Black, Brown, Yellow and Muslim people who want their own piece of YOUR (white man) America. Trump spoke and speaks to you as a defender of your white advantage. We understand that. We’re sure it’s how the genteel Southerners felt with the great emancipation.

          • david7134 says:

I think Trump is doing great and not selling his office like Hillary or trying to destroy the country like Obama. Now show your proof that he actually said this, and if behind
            closed doors, who cares.

Rumors are also he’ll deport all the Lefties with all the illegals and imported Moslems

  5. Jeffery says:

The apple never rolls far from the tree. tRump’s daddy was also a racist, and tRump inherited everything from his daddy.

  6. Still waiting for all the wave of apologies to Trump from the media that accused him of something that he didn’t do and all the leftist extremists who lost their shit over the unfounded accusation.

  7. Jl says:

What else would one call a sh*thole other than sh*thole? Wait-I know. “Potential voters”.

    • Jeffery says:

      It typed:

      “Potential voters”.

Arithmetic. Try it, you’ll like it. (But then you believe increasing 100,000 by 40% means adding 10 to the total. And that 72% of drug convictions in the US are of undocumented residents.)

Anyway, there are over 100,000,000 regular voters in the US out of some 200,000,000 registered. So adding 200,000 voters is adding 0.1% to the total. Even if they had all voted for Hillary Clinton, she would still have only won by about 3 million votes.

      Anyway, non-citizens can’t vote.

      • Jl says:

Poor J is still math challenged, but then he’s a liberal. Mr. Professor can’t be alluding to CO2 because that never happened. Sorry to the rest of you. but J needs remedial 8th grade math explained to him. Again. (round numbers) CO2 went from 300ppm to 400ppm. 100 parts added to 1million parts is the same as 10 parts added to 100,000 parts, hence the Rose Bowl analogy. J, please retake 8th grade math and get back to us.

        • drowningpuppies says:

Or to make it simpler to the little guy,
          -1 part per 10,000.

          You’re welcome.

        • Jeffery says:

We finally get it. You haven’t a clue about the concentration of mixtures or solutions. I apologize for being so mean to you.

Parts per million means the equivalent of 1 mg/1,000,000 mg, irrespective of what comprises the 1 or the 1,000,000.

So in air 400 ppm of CO2 means 400 mg CO2 in a total of 1,000,000 mg air (mostly nitrogen and oxygen).

Let’s try this. Since 1 milliliter (mL) of water weighs 1,000,000 micrograms, 1 ppm = 1 microgram/mL, agreed? (You can Google it). Serum sodium (Na) is normally approx. 142 mM (millimole)/L or 3300 microgram/mL or 3300 ppm, right? It’s your contention that a 40% increase in serum sodium represents an increase of 0.33 ppm, whereas a grade school student would correctly point out that 40% adds 1320 ppm, not 0.33 ppm. The grade schooler knows that serum Na jumped to a lethal 4620 ppm not an innocuous 3300.33 ppm.

Check my math as I could have made a mistake.

Again, I apologize for assuming you knew more than you did.

      • Jl says:

“But then you believe….”. Actually, it was 72% for drug possession convictions. Feel free to refute the US Sentencing Commission findings, J.

        • Jeffery says:

We don’t have to refute the US Sentencing Commission findings on FEDERAL convictions. We only need to show (as we did) that Liar Tuck was attempting to conflate the paucity of FEDERAL convictions (thousands) with the nearly two million total convictions for drug possession.

Do you really believe that some 1.4 million undocumented residents are convicted of drug possession every year? At that rate they should all be in jail by now. Or is it more likely that the FEDERAL conviction rate overestimates the total?

But then again, you believe that 10/100,000 = 0.4. That’s the most amazing observation about Con Men “thought” – it’s unmoored to reality. You can create reality as you go! Just like Dotard tRump!

      • Jl says:

J, so again you write a lot of words but in no way refute the term “potential voters”. If given amnesty and citizenship they’d be……. potential voters. “Even if they all voted for Clinton…”. That’s about what I thought you’d say. Seeing as we have an electoral college system to elect the president, several hundred thousand voters could easily flip a state such as Florida, or if we keep letting them invade us, Texas, changing the whole electoral map.

  8. Stosh says:

You only get to pick one:

    A) If they’re not s***holes then the people with “temporary protected status” can go home.

    B) The countries are s***holes

  9. Jeffery says:

LOL. The Norwegians, whom tRump invited in, say “no thanks” to moving to this Shithole we still call America. Thanks, Dotard.

  10. Dana says:

Trump expressed himself poorly, but he was still right. Our deficit was $666 billion in FY2017, and will be well over half a trillion again this year. Why on God’s earth would we allow the immigration of people with few job skills which translate to the American economy, who don’t share Western culture, and who will eventually wind up on welfare?

Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the same island, but Haitian culture and government has made their half a shithole.

  11. Dana says:

President Barack Hussein Obama increased Syrian refugee acceptance to 110,000, and thankfully-never-President Hillary Rodhan Clinton wanted to increase that by 65,000. Actual President Donald John Trump campaigned on restricting immigration and refugee acceptance. He’s doing and saying what he promised, and what his supporters want.

    • drowningpuppies says:

And driving his opponents batshit crazy.

    • Jeffery says:

Trump, Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina repeatedly have claimed that the Obama administration plans to accept anywhere from 100,000 to 250,000 Syrian refugees. That’s false. By law, the administration can admit slightly more than 10,000 in fiscal year 2016, and no refugee commitments can be made beyond that.

We understand how the white nationalists feel about “foreigners” “invading” the US.

Your belief that refugees are an expense adding significantly to the deficit is false. Did you support the tax cuts that will add over 1 trillion to the debt?

  12. Jl says:

Saw another one- “The people who wear vagina costumes and call their opponents ‘tea baggers’ are super offended by Trump’s vulgarity…”

  13. Jeffery says:

    Just today…

tRump and the GOPhers made the political calculation to shut down the government, figuring tRump will use his media savvy to blame the Dems. Good luck, America.

In addition, tRump is scared Brit citizens will yell at him so he cancelled his trip there. Then lied about it.

The WSJ reports that tRump paid $130,000 hush money to an adult film actress so she wouldn’t rat him out before the election. Melania must be humiliated.

    • drowningpuppies says:

Little guy loves him some fake news.

Understandable when one lives in that shithole St Louis.

  14. Jeffery says:

oops, forgot… tRump has been accused of money laundering $100s of millions through condo sales… including for Haitian dictator Baby Doc Duvalier.

This is one reason Robert Mueller is giving tRump the drizzling sh!ts.

  15. Jl says:

Yes, J, you did make as mistake, as usual. “It’s your contention that a 40% increase in sodium represents an increase of 0.33ppm, where as a grade school student would point out that a 40% increase would add 1320ppm.” No, it’s my contention that the CO2 increase in the last 100 yrs or so has added 100ppm to the atmosphere, which it has-300ppm to 400ppm. Your dumber that I thought, J. The problem with your pathetic distraction is that in the real world there’s never been a dispute on how much the ppm have increased, yet how much the ppm have increased is what your analogy is about. Whoops. It’s gone from 300ppm to 400ppm. What you seem incapable of understanding is that if the CO2 increase has been 40%, or 10%, or 100%, or whatever, it doesn’t matter- the increase concentration-wise is still 100ppm. It all depends on the number you start with. You’ve yet to refute that because mathematically you can’t. Increasing something 100ppm is the same as 10 to 100,000. CO2 going from 1ppm to 2ppm would be a 100% increase. So would that be worse than your 40% increase? Of course not, because it’s the concentration that counts. Gee, that could be why scientists use ppm instead of percentages when describing it.

  16. Jeffery says:

    Poor jl… so dumb…

Anyway. Why does tRump have non-disclosure agreements with women he has paid off?

Trashiest “president” ever. What a pig.

  17. Jl says:

Translated: I totally screwed up that CO2 thing so now I’ll change subjects…….

    • Jeffery says:

      j,

I’m sorry, I thought you had been humiliated enough.

Do you still want to talk about how you don’t understand the concept of concentrations? It’s clear we overestimated your knowledge, and for that we apologized profusely. When a climate scientist refers to a gas concentration of parts per million (ppm) what do you think they mean? Parts per million of what?

For some reason you claimed that a 40% increase in the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere was equivalent to adding 10 people to a crowd of 100,000 – we assume to persuade others that an increase from 260 ppm to 405 ppm is not relevant to the warming that you claim is faked. We assume when the concentration is doubled you’ll equate that to 20 people walking into a crowd of 100,000.

Do you even realize that gases have mass?

  18. Jl says:

Yes, that right J. A 40% increase in CO2 drove the concentration from 300ppm to 400ppm, an increase, obviously, (except to our resident buffun) of 100 ppm. Now follow along here, J. Increasing something by 100 ppm is the same as increasing something 10 parts to 100,000 parts, hence the Rose Bowl analogy. But seeing as simple ratios are over your head, try this. Imagine the Rose Bowl seats 1,000,000 ppl. A 40% increase in CO2 over the last 100 yrs drove its concentration from 300ppm to 400ppm. So that would be the same as adding 100 extra ppl to that Rose Bowl filled with ppl. Feel free to refute that grade school math. Good luck

    • Jeffery says:

You’re mixing apples and bicycles or in your case CO2 and humans.

100 people added to 1 million is an increase of 40%?? Your parents should sue your school district.

Of course a fact that you deny is that for the Holocene 280 ppm appears to be the equilibrium CO2 (infrared leaving Earth in equilibrium with energy input from Sun) while more that 280 ppm causes the accumulation of heat. The current period of rapid warming results from this “tiny” 120 ppm increase in CO2.

  19. Jl says:

J, did the ppm go up 100 or not? Yes, it did. What are you trying to deny?. CO2 going from 5ppm to 7ppm = 40% increase. Going from 50ppm to 70 ppm = 40% increase. Going from 10ppm to 14ppm = 40% increase. Going from 200ppm to 280ppm= 40% increase. Going from 500ppm to 700ppm = 40% increase. There’s an infinite number of combinations available to make something, anything, go up 40%. As I said, it all depends on the number you start with, which is why it’s not a good way to explain something. The percent increase is irrelevant-it’s what it does to the final number of whats being increased that counts. My $1,000,000 salary goes up 10%, an increase of $100,000. The other guy’s $100,000 salary goes up 20%, an increase of $20,000. Who’s better off? The percentage doesn’t matter, the difference between $100,000 and $20,000 matters-the final number.

  20. Jl says:

“100 ppl added to 1 million is a 40% increase?” No, nor was it ever proclaimed to be, that’s just you looking at it the wrong way. The 40% increase alluded to was CO2 going from 280ppm to 400ppm. The 100ppm that it increased (round numbers)…..is the same as adding 100 ppl to 1million ppl.
