I’ve ignored it for too long, and usually only mention when someone complains. Take the personal insults down about 30 notches. No more spoofing other poster’s names. No more nasty personal names. No more epithets. We’re adults here, regardless of political affiliation.

The term “communist” has become meaningless, as the regressives use it. It is entirely disconnected from any political meaning as used by the far right. Now it simply means “anyone I wish to discredit but lack any factual basis on which to do so”.
The same goes for the inaccurate application of fascist, I would assume.

I don’t think Urban Dictionary is an arbiter of anything let alone English definitions. Besides you didn’t say “regressive right” you said regressive. If there is a regressive right there must also be a regressive left. I assume they would be the communists since they managed to slaughter 100 million plus in the last century. That sounds very regressive to me. So, which is more regressive, people on the”far right who frown upon critical thinking” (says the guys who won’t allow disagreement on campus) or murdering communists on the left. I’ll get back to you on that.
