          American Jews tend to be a heavily urbanized population, and, sadly, seem to reflect an urbanized political view.

          The only time I can remember the Democratic presidential nominee losing the Jewish vote was 1980, when American Jews saw President Carter as having betrayed Jewish interests vis a vis the Palestinians, despite the Camp David Accords which were a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt.
