Yes, these illegal and unconstitutional mask mandates are tyranny! Most were never even passed by legislatures, but imposed by executive decrees.
Messrs Putin, Xi and Kim are certainly tyrants, but just because they are worse tyrants than the Mayor of Philadelphia does not mean he isn’t a petty dictator.
If someone wants to wear a mask, he has that right; if someone doesn’t want to wear a mask, he should also have that right.
Governments are not forcing adults to wear masks, just that if you wish to associate with others indoors you should. All I’m saying is that you may need a new word if tyranny covers optional mask wearing AND death camps.
Let’s say you waltz into a Wal-Mart where the sign says Face Covering Required… will the disapproving looks from the masked ‘sheeple’ amount to tyranny? Is it tyranny when a Wal-Mart greeter says ‘You need a mask to shop here and here’s one for free!’. As you sneer at the poor senior and go about your shopping maskless, is it tyranny when ‘security’ says, ‘Sir, please put on a mask or leave”. Again, you have the freedom to shop maskless or leave. What if three rather large masked patriots approach you and whisper, ‘Listen, asshole, your choice, put on a mask or you’re leaving… one way or the other.. Freedom isn’t free!! But it’s hardly standing in front of a tank in Tiananmen Square!
Why do you think all the mask mandates are being relaxed coincident with a 95% decrease in new cases? Shouldn’t any tyrant worth their salt press for the next outrageous tyrannical move?
