Tax cuts for the rich that would trickle down to the workers, guns galore to cut crime and control the politicos, cut regulations to boost jobs and wages and safety, gut unions for more jobs and wages, no more free education either! None of it has worked. More guns did not mean less crime and more freedom – Republican answer – even more guns! Lower taxes on the rich didn’t result in a better America – cut taxes on the wealthy even more! We have even more public and private debt. We were better off 1950-1980! Now we have endless culture wars manufactured by politicos to allow them to work in the background to stay in power and keep their true constituents rich.
Cons invent enemies to blame. Jews, Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, immigrants, women… today it’s queer teachers and their ‘groomees’, who deserve to die.!

Here we go again-“tax cuts for the rich”. Actually almost everyone earning a salary received a tax cut the last time around. But liberals think that’s worse than an in effect tax increase due to inflation and high gas prices which affect the poor the most. Nice “logic”.
“We we’re better off !950-1980..” As you know, after the Reagan tax cuts the amount of income tax paid by the top 1% actually went up, and usually goes up after any income tax cut. You want the rich to pay more? Lower their tax rates. When taxes are cut, the people paying the most receive the biggest cut-simple math, except for liberals.
The rich are getting much richer, the working class is stagnant. Plus the cost of living has been increasing faster, not just now but for decades.
One way to get ahead was education. Now college is out of reach for many poor kids. The rich go to private schools and are groomed for Harvard, Yale, Princeton etc. Public transportation is terrible. Public healthcare is poor.

They didn’t have to “get everything right forever and ever” since they gave us a way to amend what they did. Unlike you they were forward thinking and allowed for change. You OTOH, like to erase what they set up for us because what they established was built upon Christian values which you neither understand nor accept. Also unlike you and your ilk, they never believed they were always right or the laws perfect. Which is why they left amending the Constitution as an escape clause. But one has to believe and follow the constitution or none of our laws matter. Just like one has to actually follow the science or they will believe men can magically turn into women, menstruate and have babies but those babies aren’t human babies until they are born.

True. But of course, our Supreme Court has the final say on what the Amendments and Constitution means. In fact, their decisions end up being more important than the text of the Constitution.
It seems the Constitution was written vaguely to allow for citizens to adjust to reality even two centuries later.
