    If “palm trees which will soon grow in northern areas like Canada and Alaska,” does that mean I could plant lemon and orange and banana trees here in the Bluegrass State? I would absotively, posilutely love that!

    from the 14th Amendment:

    Section 3
    No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

    DonJon admitted on “Truth” Social that he tried to overturn the 2020 election. All he wanted was for VP Pence to reject the certification and to “send it back to the states”. He told his mob that VP Pence “lacked courage”. “Hang Mike Pence!”

    The attack on the Capitol by his mob was intended to delay the certification of the vote.

    After doing nothing for 3 hours, when it was clear the coup failed, DonJon finally told his mob they were “special”, that he “loved” them and they should leave.

    VP Pence and Congress returned to perform their duties.

    What is DonJon’s path forward? Will he announce his candidacy or continue to collect illegal campaign funds? Will he claim the DOJ can’t pursue charges so close to an election?
