MAGAts will have to come to their own understanding of how awful, terrible, harmful and hurtful Donald Trump is to you, us and the nation. As said before, Trump is not the cause of the fracturing of America but is certainly an accelerant taking advantage of his special genius for marketing hate and division for his own benefit. He’s pushing America to a tipping point.
It’s time for a change.

Survey following GOP debate, 1,169 likely voters (MOE +/- 3%):
Majority of Republicans (59%) favored a 15 week abortion ban (NB – 90% of abortions in US occur by week 13)
No group (Republican, Dem, Independent) favored shutting down Dept of Education.
A majority (51%) of Republicans supported citizens passing a poll test to vote.
No group favored breaking up teacher’s unions.
51% of Republicans favored sending US troops into Mexico to fight drug cartels.
76% of Republicans favored pardoning Donald Trump of crimes.
All groups favored expanding the production of clean energy.
All groups favored (over 90%) lowering prescription drug costs.
All groups favored raising taxes on corporations and the wealthy.
All groups favored expanding access to affordable housing.
All groups favored expanding Medicaid and Medicare.
All groups favored (D=91%, I=71%, R=51%) addressing climate change.

Within the limits of this survey, it seems most Americans largely disagree with the far-right.
Why do red states keep instituting 6-week abortion bans that few want?
Would the far-right agree with a national 15 week ban, with exclusions for health of the mother, or terminal conditions of the fetus after 15 weeks?
