The Harris/Biden administration just secured the release of over 20 political prisoners held by Mr Trump’s buddy Putin.
Released were Wall Street Journal’s Evan Gershkovich, former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan and Russian-American journalist Alsu Kurmasheva. In addition, 13 others were released in exchange for eight Russians held in the US and Europe.
President Biden said more than 70 Americans who were wrongfully detained or held hostage have been released during his administration.
Asked by a reporter about Trump’s repeated claims that he could have gotten the prisoners freed without giving away anything in return, Biden shot back: “Why didn’t he do it when he was president?”

Speaking of the Paris Olympics, the incredible, incomparable Simone Biles won the Gold medal in the women’s overall (gymnastics), sealed with a near-perfect floor exercise routine!
In a sport dominated by teens and early 20 somethings, the 27 yr old Biles returned to training and kicked ass.
If you have any specific criticisms of Biles, direct them to Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, and her husband.
