“Joe Biden became mentally impaired. Kamala was born that way,” Trump said to loud applause. “And if you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country”.

On Master Sgt. Major Tampon Timmy…

“Well, first of all, I don’t find them to be consequential. Second of all, Walz is a buffoon. I’m sorry, this guy, he’s the only school teacher in America who brags that none of his students can get into an Ivy League school. He said one consequential press interaction with our Dana Bash, who asked him about the fabrications in his own resume and his answer was essentially, ‘Me no understand words good.’ I mean, he’s a buffoon,” Jennings said.

Trump just made it inside his special box at the Alabama v. Georgia game, and the entire student section roared in cheers for him

Everyone in the country is hungry for Trump’s return, including Gen-Z voters.

Jaded Vance on child’s car seats: American families aren’t having enough children. I think there’s evidence that some of the things that we’re doing to parents is driving down the number of children that American families are having. In particular, there’s evidence that the car seat rules that we’ve imposed, which of course I want kids to drive in car seats, have driven down the number of babies born in this country by over 100,000.

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Did you look up said evidence? of course not. You’re lookin for proof which you just commented we should not need. Besides, you ascribe everything we say to our “motives” as you said. what is Vance’ motive for talking about car seats? Where did you even get that silly quote. Only a person who believes in biden getting a magical 81 million votes could believe anything you write without you accrediting it. So who wrote that nonsense?

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        LGB,

        Wrong again. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3665046

The report claimed car seat requirements reduced the likelihood of having a 3rd child by 0.7 percent.

Using census data and state-year variation in laws, we estimate that when women have two children of ages requiring mandated car seats, they have a lower annual probability of giving birth by 0.73 percentage points. Consistent with a causal channel, this effect is limited to third child births, is concentrated in households with access to a car, and is larger when a male is present (when both front seats are likely to be occupied).

We agree that Vance made a silly quote. But you can watch it yourself. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/vance-car-seat-rules/

        • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

My point is who (other than small minded leftists looking for something to bitch about) cares? None of that crap matters since it has no affect on how he would lead. Making silly mistakes of no relevance is not a major character flaw. Sucking dick to get political power is.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

            LGB,

One lie at a time please. Did we demonstrate to your satisfaction that Krazy Vance said what we said he said??

You should have said “who cares” rather than question whether Krazy Vance made the goofy statements (in a Senate hearing no less!!).

But how dare you accuse Senator Vance of sucking Peter Thiel’s dick to become Senator!! Thiel is the gay billionaire libertarian, and Vance’s first employer at Mithril Capital in San Francisco (where else), who single-handedly financed Jaded Vance’s Senate campaign. Some men will do anything for power. One look at the eye-liner wearing Vance leads one to believe he’s sucked a dick or six (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Thiel was born in Germany (ach tongue, baby LOL). He and Vance have had a relationship since 2011 when Peter groomed Vance in the techniques of venture capitalism in San Francisco. Vance was strongly attracted to Peter following a speech Peter gave at Yale Law School. I guess we can add Law Schools to list of high schools, Catholic, Baptist and Methodist churches where youngsters get groomed!

Speaking of sucking dicks… it’s rumored that a lot of that goes on in fire houses (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

Why are conservative men so obsessed with dick sucking?

How to help the people displaced by Hurricane Helene in FL, GA, TN, NC. . . .

    https://commoncts.blogspot.com/2024/09/how-to-help-people-displaced-by.html

    • Professor Hale says:

Presidential Hopeful Ms. Harris claims that to help people displaced by hurricanes, you should send them “thoughts and prayers”. This from the same party that ridiculed the term “thoughts and prayers” in past mass shooting events.

President Emeritus Biden claimed that the displaced people were already getting everything they were going to get.

Evidently all the real aid like food and shelter was already spend on people from other countries. Remember back when the national democratic party-controlled media thought presidents needed to do more for storm victims and that if they failed to measure up they should not be re-elected? Evidently, they only think that when Republicans are in office.

Further, Biden, when asked about the Israeli strike in Yemen over the weekend, commented that he had spoken to both sides, that he supports collective bargaining and that he expects there to be a reasonable settlement.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

JUst more whiny blah blah blah from the increasingly desperate commenter… The death toll reaches 116 with scores still missing. But MAGAts gotta politic all the time.

President Biden and I remain committed to ensuring that no community or state has to respond to this disaster alone. Federal personnel are on the ground to support families that have been impacted so that critical resources like food, water, and generators are available. We have also approved emergency declarations for Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee – making resources and funding available to maximize our coordinated response efforts at the local, state, and federal levels.

As we continue to respond and as communities recover, our administration will remain in constant contact with state and local officials. I have been briefed by FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell and will continue to receive regular updates.

President Biden said this morning that he would ask for further funds from Congress. And let’s hope the private insurers respond better than they did after 2020 Hurricane Ian. Some people who lost their homes then have been offered pennies on the dollar for their losses by the private insurers.

Billionaire Donnie is visiting Georgia (swing state!) today to “assess damage”. Just imagine how much he and other science deniers could donate!!

BTW, unlike president emeritus Krazy Donnie, President Biden is still President. Any real professor would know this.

        • Jl says:

Funny-“science deniers..”. Denigration in lieu of debate. Gee, first time I’ve seen this from the alarmist crowd…

  8. Professor Hale says:

Nation’s gun show in Chantilly Virginia was this past weekend.
    1. You can still buy a fully functional AR-15 for $500 or a Glock for $600.
    2. SKS used to be sold as junk rifles for about $90. Now they are “collectables” at $700.
    3. A good quality AR-15, AR-10, or other AR-multi caliber will run $1200-1500.
    4. A low end Ruger 10-22 is still under $300.
    5. Ammunition in all sizes was plentiful and at reasonable prices.
    6. Sign conspicuously posted, “You may not enter if you smell like weed”. Sad that they needed to post such a sign but I’m glad they did. Previous gun shows I noticed that smell on some people. Probably people from Maryland.
    7. This is the same gun show that the previous Virginia governor tried to get permanently banned from Virginia.
    8. No gun show loopholes to be found. I looked all over for one but didn’t see it.
    9. Bee guy was there again. He sells honey that he claims is made by bees working the “Hemp” fields. He brings a live bee hive under plexiglass for the kids to gawk at.

Conclusion: It does not look like anyone is “gearing up” for a revolution.
