   “I don’t know which spins harder. The hurricane or the media spin about it. We are in both the hurricane and the political season. Lots of wind blowing. And predictably, what was covered and what was ignored is telling.
   “One day after the storm hit, Trump was on the ground in Georgia. He brought truckloads of needed supplies and a tanker of gasoline. All at his own expense. He anted up $4M of his own money. He got his supporters to raise another $36 to match him. Trump got his buddy Elon to donate his Skynet service to the affected areas. Predictably, the national media largely ignored his efforts. But they covered Kamala who was at a San Fransisco fundraiser. And Biden, who was lounging at a Delaware beach.
   “Meanwhile, Western North Carolina was devastated. 4 days in, a Florida helicopter pilot was furious. He and 39 other helo pilots were flying relief flights into the western hills of the state. They would fly in supplies and fly out those they rescued. One he flew out was an 11-day old baby in need of neonatal care. FEMA did a press conference on the event. And had the audacity to claim credit for it! The pilot was furious. 40 private helicopters were doing the work at their own expense. Only 2 state choppers had joined them. FEMA has no air lifts in place.
   “A federal spokesperson did an interview. She announced that all locals in need of help should get on their computers and put their request for help online at ‘www/gov. com’! Whatta twit. People need water, food, medical supplies, the basics. NOT a website! And it is the churches and communities themselves that are stepping up,…NOT FEMA.”

     I tried to explain that to Ellwood and he quipped “I don’t believe a word you say”. I’m down here with fellow fire fighters and EMTs helping do what we can and rarely see FEMA. It’s like trying to find a leftist at a church.

     My dad told me about Trump’s donations as well as his generous gifts of food and water. My dad has given hundreds of thousands to help the folks of NC and SC even though his own properties have suffered millions in damages. That’s how we lousy privileged white Christian conservatives roll. How much has the Harris or Walz family donated of their own wealth? As much as the Keene’s have I’m sure.

       Trump, Teach, Pissant and you all lie. It’s hard to tell what’s true.

       Trump has spread lie after lie about Helene and now Milton.

       Mr Pissant didn’t use a citation on his jeremiad so it’s impossible to check the accuracy. No choice but to dismiss every word of it.

   Conservative Republicuns are increasingly ignorant. Why? Because their supporters crave it.

   Congress approved funds specifically for helping communities with homeless issues. It was decided that DHS administer the program.

   This funding is separate from FEMA emergency funds.

   The lie (or mistake) started with a facebook post. A facebook post. Trump and his dishonest or ignorant minions repeated the lie. No one bothered to check the veracity.

   Irresponsible House Republicuns introduce stupid bills to enrage their ignorant followers.

   Don’t Republicun voters get offended being played like this? They do not respect your intelligence.

     As opposed to the lie starting with the FBI, CIA and other higher-ups proclaiming that the Hunter laptop story was Russian disinformation? Or the lie that was the Russian collusion hoax? Hmm..very selective memories on what constitutes lying.

   And why are we doing this?
