That the Democrats are realizing some of the things they did wrong does not mean that they’ll nominate someone sensible in 2028. My very early bet is Gavin Newsom, because he’s just plain got a lot more charisma and star appeal than anyone else the Democrats have. The only close challenger would be the lovely Miss Ocasio-Cortez, but she’s just plain whacko, and a rabid anti-Semite to boot.
Governor Newsom is just as far-left whacko as anyone, but he presents it far better.
