    US oil producers push back against orders to Drill, Baby, Drill. As long as they’re not U.S.-owned they need to chase profits, not political idiotology.

    Oil producers typically respond to market forces rather than political statements. Currently, most expect to expand production only if prices rise above a certain threshold, roughly $84 per barrel — a 15% increase from present levels. Until then, the “drill, baby, drill” rallying cry does not resonate in corporate boardrooms.

    This is the conumdrum faced by Il Douche. He wants lower gas prices for voters but doesn’t believe in market realities. He’s the Boss!! Maybe he can use tax dollars to prop up U.S. producers to get them to produce more expensive U.S. oil. Tariffs on Canadian oil won’t reduce gas prices either.

    Being president is hard!!

    Some 20,000 federal workers have taken Big Donnie’s and Elon’s resignation booty. Most of them were going to retire or change jobs anyway. Now (if they can trust Donnie/Elon to keep their word) they get 8 months pay and benefits for nothing. Cool. Smart move, guys.

    Tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of this!! They expected 10 times more to opt in to the deal.

    Trump’s CIA just sent an unclassified email to the White House with the names of CIA new hires!! Hope Iran or China doesn’t read it.
