   Zelensky reaches out to Trump after “regrettable” meeting

   Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has extended an olive branch to President Donald Trump following what he called a “regrettable” meeting in Washington. Zelensky thanked Trump for past U.S. support and reiterated Ukraine’s willingness to sign a mineral agreement “any time and in any convenient format.” His remarks come as the U.S. has paused military aid to Ukraine, and Trump has signaled a preference for peace negotiations.

   Shares of the Biden administration-backed Sunnova Energy International Inc. plummeted over 50% after the green energy company announced substantial doubt that it can stay in business Monday.

   …the Biden administration awarded Sunnova a $3 billion partial loan guarantee in 2023, which it dubbed “the largest federal loan to a solar company in history.”

   In February, the cryptocurrency Bitcoin experienced its biggest monthly drop since June 2022, falling by 17.5%. On Sunday, in a post on his social media site, Trump announced that the government will create a strategic stockpile of five cryptocurrencies, spending tax dollars to buy them.

   The announcement pumped up the price of cryptocurrencies that buyers had bought low and dumped at the peak, classic pump ‘n’ dump. No doubt no investigations will be conducted.
