President Trump is giving this anti-Israel campus rabble-rouser a ticket to study abroad — for good.
A Palestinian activist who led a coalition of twisted radicals seeking the “total eradication of Western Civilization” responsible for riotous protests at Columbia University and Barnard College has been arrested by ICE agents, according to his lawyer.
Columbia University Apartheid Divest leader Mahmoud Khalil, who completed his graduate studies at Ivy League Columbia in December, also potentially faces having his visa revoked and his green card canceled following President Trump’s crackdown on unrest at colleges, attorney Amy Greer said Sunday.
He was inside his university-owned apartment a few blocks from campus Saturday night when ICE agents entered the residence and took him into custody, Greer said.
Despite graduating months ago, Khalil, who earned his undergraduate degree in Beirut, still lived in school-provided housing due to a policy allowing students to remain on campus after graduating, a source told The Post.

He has remained active in recent disruptive protests, including last week’s takeover of the Milstein Library at Barnard College. Videos and photographs posted on X depict him holding a bullhorn near the library entrance and engaged in discussion with school administrators.
That protest featured violent propaganda flyers that purportedly came directly from the “Hamas Media Office,” including one pamphlet titled “Our Narrative… Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” which justified the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel that killed 1,200 people — and in which women were repeatedly raped, whole families were executed and 251 hostages were taken to the Gaza Strip.

Mahmoud Khalil does not have a student visa but does have a Green Card (permanent resident).
Regardless of one’s thoughts on Islam (or organized religions in general), the US is proudly a nation of laws, not presidential whims. As a Green Card holder, Mr Khalil has certain rights.
The American right dislikes education and universities in general, and really dislike “Ivy League” schools like Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, Penn and Yale! Rightists have a knee-jerk response to use state-force to control the populace.
Will Mr Khalil be charged and convicted of one of the crimes that justify deporting a legal resident? Is opposing Israel’s bombing of Palestinians a crime? We’ll see.
Trump has also stopped $400 million in grants and contracts to Columbia.

Earlier this week, Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin, once again, used his office to advance the political positions of the Trump administration instead of uphold law and order. Martin sent out another threatening letter. This one (eventually) went to the Dean of Georgetown University Law Center, William Treanor, demanding the elite law school stop all diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts or else his office will no longer consider candidates associated with Georgetown Law (assuming they’re back in the hiring business).

Every Missourian recognizes Ed Martin as the complete and total far-right dumbass he is. While chief of staff of Gov Matt Blunt, Martin refused for a year to reveal emails (as required by MO law), but when pressured they found 60,000 pages of emails that showed that Martin has used his position to illegally influence groups against Dem candidates. A suit was settled by Martin and Gov Blunt for $0.5 MILLION.
Now, Martin is a willing trump lackey, firing all prosecutors involved in Jan 6 cases.
