The cost of climate change will be almost four times higher than we thought, a new study has warned.
Scientists from the University of South Wales warn that just 4°C (7.2°F) of warming will make the average person 40 per cent poorer by 2100.
And it’s particularly bad news for Britons, who will be 46.5 per cent poorer, according to the researchers.
Even if global warming is capped at just 2°C (3.6°F), the researchers found that global GDP per person – a measure of economic output – will fall by 16 per cent.
That is a huge increase from more conservative estimates, which suggested 2°C (3.6°F) of warming would lead to a 1.4 per cent decrease in GDP.
Oh, so now we’re doing 4C? They kinda blew right past 1.5, 2, and 3 for this bid of fearmongering
The reason these costs are so much higher than earlier predictions is that the researchers have taken the impact of global weather into account for the first time.
Lead author Dr Timothy Neal says: ‘Because these damages haven’t been taken into account, prior economic models have inadvertently concluded that even severe climate change wasn’t a big problem for the economy – and it’s had profound implications for climate policy.’
Yeah yeah yeah. They’re always looking for some way to doomsay in order to increase the power of the government via the climate cult. And no credentialed media outlet will actually require these climate cult scientists to prove what they are saying. There is zero journalistic skepticism.

Sure, sure, some will argue that the next Dem prez will reverse all King Donald’s wise decisions. Untrue – the beauty of King Donald (besides the tan, hair and brilliance) is that he and his Project 2025 ‘advisers’ are working to rig future elections.
By 2100, an increase of 3.8°F is almost unavoidable, but we typists here will be long dead. Our ancestors built America, defeated the Nazis, landed on the moon (maybe?)… our generation built Starbucks and Walmart and fentanyl and broke up the Soviet Union. Let the next generations deal with this trivial increase in the global temperature, if it even is real.

Tariff policy will become the same chaos that exists in the federal budget where each congressperson and senator is creating special carveouts and protections for products that come from his own district or whose donors are particularly generous. It will become just like the tax code, punishing the general population while rewarding connected insiders. And zero self restraint.
If anything can be learned from this, Grassley has learned what a powerful tool tariffs are. A tool previous administrations were ignorant of. Almost as if they were being paid by foreign governments to undermine the US economy and workers. If not for Trump, Grassley would never have woken up about this powerful tool of international statecraft. So the climate astrologers say the average person will be 40% poorer by 2100? Figured by a “computer model”? “Taken the impact of global weather into effect this time”. The global weather is no worse than it used to be. Costs to rebuild obviously go up due to the simple fact that there’s more structures and people in the way of whatever happens, and duh..things cost more.
