Typepad hint

This might even apply to others who have internal stats, too. Some folks may remember me whining about my internal stats not working, those being hit counter and referrers. Been happening since January. Have tried everything (almost), and Typepad help was stumped (I apologize for some nasty words to them.) But, finally, I figured out […]

Blog stuff

While we are on the subject of How To Blog, let me add a few things. First, you may have noticed folks with strange Truth Laid Bear things, like mine which says I am a "Large Mammal with a Light Saber." How do you do that? SImple. Use a code like this: I am a<br […]

Site Search Functionality

Basil has a series going on Learning To Blog. He is on Part VI: Site Search. Just wanted to chip in my 2 gold dubloons, and add a little bit. Also, you can visit Harvey, who really isn’t a Bad Example, and whose posts helped me alot when I first started. This is the code that […]

A Typepad Hint

So, I checked up on it, since I had previously thought you could only do it if you owned a domain name. WRONG. It is actually incredibly simple. What is a favicon? See […]

Reciprical Trackbacks

Here is an interesting article from the Commissar regarding trackbacks, ran across it while persuing the Showcase. For me, being in the top 1000 is pretty nice. With the whole issue with the TTLB Ecosystem database, I lost about 100 or so links, including 17 well earned links for the Guardian Story, which I actually […]

Link Pop Ups

Some info some of you know, some of you may not. I had a friend of a friend (who still hasn’t sent me the name of her blog, though, I think that is because she is vast left wing, and doesn’t want me trolling :o) ) ask me who I get most of my links […]

Bumping that Traffic Up

I had read a good article by Bad Example about bumping ones traffic up about a month ago or so, when was checking the Showcase for new blogs. Definately worth a perusal. Me, I have only been blogging since July 2004, so I felt it was helpful. If you are new, submit a post. Alot […]
