st greta carElectric cars are up to twice as expensive as petrol or diesel vehicles to run, new figures have suggested.

Running an electric vehicle (EV) can cost more than 24p per mile, while a diesel vehicle is 12.5p.

It costs as much as 80p per kilowatt hour to charge an EV using a rapid or ultra-rapid device on the roadside, according to data from the app ZapMap.

A typical electric car will travel 3.3 miles for every kWh of electricity used, meaning rapid and ultra-rapid chargers currently cost the equivalent of 24.1p per mile, calculations by The Times suggest.

Slower chargers cost 16.4p per mile.

This is around double the average diesel car, which will do 43 miles per gallon, resulting in a cost of 12.5p per mile at current prices. A typical petrol car costs 14.5p per mile, according to the analysis.

Huh. Yet, the Elites in the UK are working to force all the peasants into EVs, while, can you find the aristocracy traveling in EVs in photos or video, other than for photo-ops? Anyhow, the article does point out that charging at home is less expensive than gas, which is true. But, a generous study says 43% of Brits would not be able to charge at home, and, that percent could be much higher. And many of those would could charge at home do not have the ability to do more than Level 1, which can take days to charge

ZapMap found that prices at rapid chargers have increased 5 per cent over the past year, despite a 30 per cent decrease in the wholesale cost of electricity.

Huh. That’s weird.

Thom Groot, founder of the Electric Car Scheme, said: “We need to keep stimulating demand with incentives and supporting consumers in making the switch. The fact that people who charge at home pay less VAT than those who use public chargers is unfair.”

In other words, they really cannot survive without massive government help. So, scheme is a good word.

Hilariously, Israeli Shell Company Supplied The Pagers To Hezbollah

Israeli shell company behind explosive pagers used by Hezbollah – NYT

Hungary-based pagers manufacturing company BAC Consulting, which manufactured the pagers that exploded across Lebanon on Tuesday, was an Israeli shell company, the New York Times reported on Thursday, citing three intelligence officers.

The three officers further said that an additional two shell companies were created, which, the NYT noted, assisted in hiding the identities of those involved in manufacturing the pagers.

The report explained that while the company did produce regular pagers for other clients, those manufactured for Hezbollah were “produced separately, they contained batteries laced with explosive.”

According to the report, the pagers were first sent to Lebanon in 2022 in a small batch.

Following a speech made by Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, where he denounced the use of cellphones – calling them Israel’s “agent” – and promoted more comprehensive use of pagers, more orders for BAC manufactured pagers were reportedly placed by operatives of the Lebanese terrorist organization.

This is great. Israel creates the fear among Hezbollah over use of cell phones, then produces the pagers for the terrorists to use. And, get this: Israel got paid for selling the pagers to Hezbollah. Even if Israel didn’t make a profit, Hezbollah would have spent their money buying the pagers which had batteries laced with explosives. Israel had this operation ready to go even before Hamas attacked Israel last October.

Over 1000 ready-to-launch rockets in South Lebanon destroyed in IDF strike

IDF fighter jets struck hundreds of rockets that were ready for immediate launch into Israeli territory, the IDF announced on Thursday night.

Starting on Thursday afternoon, a total of about 100 rocket launchers and other military infrastructure were attacked, including about 1,000 rockets that were ready for immediate launch, the IDF said.

Three Lebanese security officials told Reuters that these were “the heaviest aerial strikes since the conflict began in October.”

Of course, for Democrats, any action by Israel is bad. They should never attack, they are meant to sit their and take it as terrorists attack the nation. You even have AOC supporting Hezbollah, complaining about the report that one child was killed in the pager attack, but, she’s said nothing about all the Jewish children murdered by Hezbollah and Hamas.

What The Fed’s Interest Rate Cut Means For Green Energy

The Federal Reserve’s decision Wednesday to start cutting interest rates could bolster green energy investments, which took a hit as the U.S. central bank drastically increased the cost of borrowing money over the past two years in a scramble to tamp down post-pandemic inflation.

At its 2 p.m. meeting, the Fed slashed interest rates by 50 basis points ? one-half a percentage point ? delivering an even larger cut than the quarter of a percentage point Wall Street forecasters initially expected.

But analysts said the market needs rates to come down further to reverse the project delays and cancellations slowing the global transition away from fossil fuels, as well as warned that many emerging clean energy sectors ? from next-generation nuclear power to hydrogen fuel ? require additional support through government policy changes.

“It’s not going to do a huge amount to help the projects that have struggled with the cost of debt,” Peter Martin, the chief economist at the British-based energy consultancy Wood Mackenzie, told HuffPost. “It’s a bit of a psychological boost in terms of showing we are about to close the chapter on those really aggressive rate hikes.”

First, like the cultists will allow next gen nuclear power. Hydrogen is silly, because it put the number one greenhouse gas, water vapor, at ground level, leading to much higher artificial heating at ground level.

Second, it’s interesting that investment in “clean” energy is stifled because of the higher rates. If it was so darned necessary to Save The Planet From Boiling, you’d think investors would stream towards it. Who would be dropping tons of money into it, especially since the federal government and certain states are giving out tons of taxpayer money for these projects.

By October, the International Energy Agency warned that higher rates were spiking the cost of building all kinds of clean energy projects. Before the end of that month, the world’s largest offshore turbine developer, the Danish giant Ørsted, canceled its high-profile wind farm off the coast of New Jersey. A month later, the reactor startup NuScale abandoned its landmark project to build the United States’ first small modular atomic power units.

But, there are no reports of big fossil fuels projects having been cancelled due to the rates, because those companies involved know that there will be a return on investment. Weird, eh?

Majority Of Democrats Vote Against Bill Requiring Deportation Of Non-Citizens Who Commit Violence Against Women

illegal alien Democrat(Daily Caller) One-hundred fifty-eight House Democrats voted Wednesday against a resolution put forward by South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace that would designate noncitizens convicted of sex offenses or domestic violence inadmissible to and deportable from the U.S.

Two-hundred fifteen Republicans voted in favor of the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, with no one in the party opposing it. Meanwhile, only 51 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, with 158 voting against it. Mace, who introduced the resolution, told the Daily Caller that “158 Left-wing members of Congress just voted against deporting rapists, pedophiles and murderers of women and kids.”

Well, to the majority of Democrats importing non-citizens via various means, such as unfettered illegal immigration, allowing migrants to claim asylum and almost never boot any out, and bringing in large groups from 3rd world shitholes and Islamist nations, is way more important than protecting women, because the Democrats will work to make the “migrants” eligible to vote, starting at the local level, and working to get them to vote nationally, legally or illegally.

Washington Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal criticized the bill partisan and said it “fear mongers about immigrants” before the resolution was voted on.

“Here we are again, debating another partisan bill that fear mongers about immigrants, instead of working together to fix the immigration system. I probably shouldn’t be too surprised. Scapegoating immigrants and attempting to weaponize the crime of domestic violence is appearing to be a time-honored tradition for Republicans,” Jayapal said.

Greg Abbott should start sending busloads and dropping them off outside Jayapal’s house. Though, really, she wants more Islamists imported.

The summary of the bill says

This bill establishes that domestic violence crimes and sex offenses shall be grounds for making a non-U.S. national (alien under federal law) inadmissible and deportable.

The bill applies to any non-U.S. national who has admitted to or is convicted of acts constituting the essential elements of a crime of domestic violence or a sex offense, and includes conspiracy to commit a sex offense. (Under current law, convictions for certain crimes, including crimes of moral turpitude, are grounds for inadmissibility and deportability.)

I’m not sure why the Daily Caller terms it a resolution, it is a bill that will have the force of law if the Senate passes it. Be a hell of a thing if Kamala was forced to cast the tiebreaking vote on it, especially if she votes Nay.

Britain’s top diplomat has claimed that climate change represents a greater threat than terrorism or Russia to the national security of the United Kingdom.

In his first major address since the left-wing Labour Party won the general election in July, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said Tuesday that the supposed climate crisis will be “central” to his remit, despite holders of his office traditionally focussing on international relations and foreign affairs.

“While I am foreign secretary, action on the climate and nature crisis will be central to all the Foreign Office does. This is critical given the scale of the threat, but also the scale of the opportunity,” he said according to the BBC.

“The threat may not feel as urgent as a terrorist or an imperialist autocrat. But it is more fundamental. It is systemic, it’s pervasive and accelerating towards us at pace,” Lammy claimed.

Perhaps he should talk to MI5

Of course, ‘climate change’ allows the Elites to institute their Fascism on everyone.

Anti-Semitic United Nations Votes For Israel To End Occupation Of Palestinian Areas

Of course, there’s absolutely nothing about Palestinians giving up their terrorist ways. Anything saying that Hamas, Hezbollah, other Islamic terrorist groups, and individuals must stop attacking Israel, especially civilians. That they need to stop launching rockets and other weapons against Israel. It’s no wonder when the resolution was offered by the “observer state of Palestine”, essentially giving terrorists designated as terrorists by the United Nations the right to offer resolutions, among other privileges. A UN designated terrorist nation.

UN members vote to demand Israel end occupation of Palestinian territories within 12 months

United Nations members voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to demand that Israel end its occupation of Palestinian territories within 12 months.

The resolution was adopted in the UN General Assembly after receiving 124 votes in favor. Fourteen countries voted against, including the United States, Hungary, Israel, Argentina, Czechia, Fiji, Malawi, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Tonga, and Tuvalu. Forty-three nations abstained from the vote.

Sadly, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and other nations didn’t have the cajones to vote against the terrorists.

Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, meanwhile slammed the vote outcome as “a a shameful decision that backs the Palestinian Authority’s diplomatic terrorism.”

Diplomatic, heck, physical terrorism.

Amnesty International also welcomed the resolution and called on Israel to abide by it.

“This resolution vindicates long-standing calls from the Palestinian people and many countries around the world, by pursuing the implementation of the ICJ’s historic advisory opinion which confirmed Israel has a legal obligation to end its unlawful occupation of the OPT and its systemic discrimination against the occupied Palestinian population,” said Amnesty secretary general Agnes Callamard said.

During the 1967 war, Israel captured the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip and the Golan heights from neighboring Arab states. Soon after, it began establishing Jewish settlements in these territories.

Jew hating Amnesty fails to realize that Israel took the land in a war Arabs started, and that everything would be fine in the West Bank and Gaza if Palestinians were not so violent. There’s a reason why the Egyptian side of Gaza has a big wall and that no Arab nation will take Palestinians in.

She would continue the responsible leadership shown by Biden, who has undertaken the most substantial climate action of any president. The Biden-Harris administration restored U.S. membership in the Paris Agreement on coping with climate change. Harris’s election would continue IRA tax credits for clean energy, as well as regulations to reduce power-plant emissions and coal use. This approach puts the country on course to spend the authorized billions of dollars for renewable energy that should cut U.S. carbon emissions in half by 2030. The IRA also includes a commitment to broadening electric vehicle technology.

Weird that SA failed to note that Harris fails to travel in an EV herself. Not even a hybrid. Just a big, fossil fueled SUV and big fossil fueled jets. She has a massive carbon footprint, and it would only get bigger if she is elected.

Anyhow, SA is also enthused by her gun grabbing beliefs, so, yeah, SA is a joke.

Stupid: Crazy TikTok Migrant Ordered Deported Still Here

TikToker, who went viral for guiding illegal migrants to ‘invade’ US homes, to be deported – but there’s a catch

Earlier this year, migrant influencer Leonel Moreno tipped illegal immigrants on how to invoke squatter rights to their advantage and “invade” American houses without being a “public burden.” An Ohio-based immigration judge ordered the viral 27-year-old content creator to be deported from the US on September 9.

However, according to a report by the New York Post, it’s quite likely that the Venezuelan migrant would not be forced to leave the country. Moreno reportedly illegally crossed into Eagle Pass, Texas, on April 23, 2022. He was arrested in March 2024 after failing to attend mandatory check-in with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

First, he crossed illegally. That should invalidate any notion of asylum. Did he claim asylum? Or, was he just caught and released by the Biden-Harris admin? Second, once he missed the check-in he should have been scooped up and sent packing.

A complication hindering the deportation process could prevent Moreno’s exit. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s administration recently stopped accepting flights of migrants deported from the US and Mexico. According to the Wall Street Journal, this defensive move seeks to oppose Washington’s reimposition of economic sanctions on the country. Subsequently, the almost weekly flights from the US to the South American country were curbed in late January. (snip)

Geauga CountySheriff Scott Hildenbrand previously told the NY Post that Moreno is currently being held at the Geauga County Jail in Ohio. In the absence of any direct commercial flight to Venezuela following their suspension in 2019 due to unrest and violence, Moreno’s deportation has been put on hold.

Sources said that Moreno acknowledged in court that he was a rank-and-file member of the Venezuelan Navy. He is reportedly not linked to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

Third, he’s a member of the Venezuelan Navy, so, he shouldn’t be eligible for asylum. Anyhow, why not just stick him on a plane going somewhere? Drop him off elsewhere. Stick him across the border in Mexico. Tell him to pick a nation and stick him on a plane, after seizing the funds he made with TikTok to pay for it.
