It’s not really surprising that Leftist media hits the wrong target

Tory rhetoric on migrants created ‘climate’ for far-right riots, say critics

The “demonising” of asylum seekers, immigrants and the legal profession by Conservative ministers helped prepare the ground for the far-right riots currently gripping the country, critics including senior politicians have warned.

They say that years of scapegoating by senior Tory figures helped stoke and normalise anti-immigrant feeling that in part fuelled the violence that has spread across England in the past week.

Former prime minister Rishi Sunak’s pledge to “Stop the Boats” was chanted by rioters last week, while former home secretary Suella Braverman previously described the flow of asylum seekers to England’s coast as an “invasion”.

Hotels used to house asylum seekers were attacked over the weekend by far-right gangs, while several mosques have been threatened. There have also been plans shared online to target dozens of immigration centres, refugee shelters and law offices that aide migrants on Wednesday.

Can you guess what is not mentioned in the article? The migrant who stabbed a bunch of children to death, which started this all. I don’t condone the riots, but, you can understand them. Citizens are tired of the government allowing tons of migrants in from countries in the 3rd World and Islamist regions for decades, who bring their own cultures, practice them in full, and refuse to assimilate into British culture. There are no go zones, loud calls to prayer, taking over the streets to pray to Mecca, grooming gangs, and so much more. I wish I could find the map again, which shows how many migrants have come into the UK over the last 30 years and changed it.

In a speech to the Policy Exchange think-tank last year, Jenrick said “excessive, uncontrolled migration threatens to cannibalise the compassion of the British public”.

Illegal migrants had “completely different lifestyles and values to those in the UK,” he went on, adding that “a shared national identity bound by shared memories, traditions and values is a prerequisite to generosity in society”.

There is no melting pot, just migrants taking over and forcing the UK to change for them. British citizens are arrested for sending mean posts on social media, while nothing happens to the migrants

The police mostly leave the migrants alone. And the media says nothing.

Electric car sales forecast slashed as drivers turn to secondhand market

Car makers have slashed their forecast for electric car sales this year amid an ongoing slowdown in demand.

The Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) now predicts electric vehicles (EVs) will account for 18.5pc of the new car market in 2024, down from an earlier prediction of 19.8pc.

EV registrations surged higher in July but sales to private consumers continued to slump.

In figures published on Monday, the SMMT also revised down its forecast for the 2024 new car market as a whole, from 1.984m vehicle sales to 1.968m.

Within that estimate, the projected number of EV sales has fallen from roughly 393,000 vehicles to 364,000.

Mike Hawes, chief executive of the SMMT, said the figures still represented annual growth but warned that weakening demand for EVs among private consumers – despite heavy discounting by car makers – remained the industry’s “overriding concern”.

And that’s the thing, manufacturers are throwing insane amounts of cash to sell EVs. And I mean insane. Leases that look more like for a $24K car, not a $45K+ vehicle.

Mr Hawes said: “More people than ever are buying and driving EVs but we still need the pace of change to quicken, or else the UK’s climate change ambitions are threatened and manufacturers’ ability to hit regulated EV targets is at risk.

“Achieving market transition at the pace demanded requires greater support for consumers and action on incentives and infrastructure is needed now.”

How about he and the rest mind their own business? And why wasn’t Hawes asked if he’s driving an EV himself?

Shapiro would have potentially appealed to the Independents and squishy Democrats. Instead, Cackles picked a hardcore Modern Socialist to seemingly play to the hardcores, including the Jew haters and Islamic supremacists.

He’s gone complete anti-2nd Amendment

Last year, Walz then signed a gun control package that featured universal background checks and a red flag policy that creates a process for law enforcement to take firearms away from individuals perceived at risk of harming themselves or others.

Obviously, his a 100% supporter of abortion on demand, free college (at taxpayer expense), and soft on China. As Charlie Kirk notes

Biden Regime Looks To Ban Single Use Plastic

Do they have the legislative authority to do this? What specific law passed by the duly elected Congress gives them this authority? Didn’t the Supreme Court just rule on stuff like this?

Priorities: Biden Admin to Eliminate Plastic Cutlery in Move to Save the Planet

The Biden administration will reportedly phase out the use of plastic cutlery in all federal departments to combat “climate change.”

The administration announced the plan in July as part of its “Mobilizing Federal Action on Plastic Pollution: Progress, Principles, and Priorities,” per the New York Post.

“The President is committed to taking ambitious actions… to end plastic pollution and is calling upon the global community to do the same, with the goal to reduce the global production and consumption of virgin plastics,” the White House said.

The White House said that it will eliminate single-use plastics like “plastic and polystyrene food and beverage containers, bottles, straws, cups, cutlery and disposable plastic bags.” The order came after a previous executive order reducing the sale of single-use plastics on public lands.

While I certainly have concerns with plastic waste from a purely environmental point of view, this is nuts, and doesn’t seem to be something authorized by the Legislative Branch. It would be seemingly outside their Constitutional powers, as well. Should we go back to glass bottles? Studies have stated that glass is worse than plastic. Biden is trying to make cookouts and parties all sorts of fun.

Some Republican lawmakers called the order “laughable” and “absurd.”

“The world’s on fire and he’s worried about plastic forks,” Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) told the Daily Mail.

“It’s more messaging and ridiculousness, and it’s a direct shot to that whole industry,’” said Sen. James Lankford (R-OK). “It’s also clearly not where everybody is. It’s going to raise costs for a lot of folks so it seems to be just irrelevant on deficit issues.”

Do citizens even care that much? All for a scam.

Top Prosecutor Calls For Criminal Probe Of Opposition Leaders

Venezuela’s top prosecutor announces criminal probe of opposition leaders

Venezuela’s top prosecutor on Monday announced a criminal investigation against the opposition’s presidential candidate Edmundo González and its leader María Corina Machado over their call on the armed forces to abandon their support for President Nicolás Maduro and to stop repressing demonstrators.

Attorney General Tarek William Saab’s statement tied the investigation directly to a written appeal the two members of the opposition sent hours earlier about Maduro and the demonstrators who have come out in force to defend their votes in the July 28 election.

Saab, in a written announcement posted on the social media site X, said the duo “falsely announced a winner of the presidential election other than the one proclaimed by the National Electoral Council, the only body qualified to do so” and they openly incited “police and military officials to disobey the laws.”

Gonzalez’s and Machado’s written appeal shows the alleged commission of various crimes including usurpation of functions, dissemination of false information to cause fear and conspiracy, Saab said.

Going after the political opposition, eh? Sounds familiar. Of course, in Venezuela they’ll be treated a bit more harshly, thrown in a horrible prison, which is where all the protesters are going to be thrown, per the promise of the Maduro regime. And the tally sheets show that Maduro lost.

The Venezuela-based human rights organization Provea, in a report issued Monday analyzing the post-election climate, concluded that the government’s response in silencing people’s discontent has been “through the disproportionate use of force” that has resulted in the deaths of protesters and “the open coordinated action between security forces and groups of armed civilians in favor of Nicolás Maduro to calm the protests” which has led to an increase in arbitrary arrests.

Those upset with Trump losing are still being thrown in jail, still being tracked down. Those who rioted after Trump won in 2016, along with other similar incidents, are left (sic) alone.

EU Tells Venezuela To Stop ‘Judicial Intimidation’ Of Opposition

The European Union on Tuesday told Venezuela’s government to stop targeting opposition leaders after authorities opened a criminal probe against the main challengers disputing the reelection of President Nicolas Maduro.

“This needs to stop. We are calling on the authorities to stop this, this campaign of intimidation of the opposition and judicial intimidation,” EU spokesman Peter Stano said.

Sounds like what the Biden admin and their allies have been doing.

Trump Totally Back EVs After Elon Musk Endorsement Or Something

Trump says he has ‘no choice’ but to support electric vehicles because Elon Musk ‘endorsed me very strongly’

Former President Donald Trump said he had “no choice” but to support electric vehicles after Tesla CEO Elon Musk “endorsed” him.

Trump then went on to criticize the EV industry at length.

Musk has long been a champion of the pivot to electric vehicles. His company Tesla has largely led the way in developing the industry, which for a time made Musk a darling of the climate-conscious left.

But Musk has more recently embraced conservative politics, especially the issue of free speech. Musk bought Twitter in 2022, rebranded it to X, and has dismantled many of the checks and balances meant to limit hateful speech and misinformation on the platform.

Wait, you mean free speech is a conservative issue? Huh, I guess Democrats are against it.

At a rally in Georgia on Saturday, Trump told the crowd he supported electric cars but thought people should still have access to gas vehicles.

“I’m for electric cars. I have to be because, you know, Elon endorsed me very strongly,” Trump told the crowd. “So, I have no choice.”

He then clarified that he only supports them as a “small slice” of the larger auto industry.

“You want to have gas-propelled cars. You want to have hybrids. You want to have every kind of car,” he said.

Exactly. It’s about choice. Not government forcing the peasants to buy EVs, all while the Elites continue to drive large, fossil fueled limos/EVs

An independent review now says Israel has not provided evidence to support its accusation that a significant number of employees of a U.N. relief agency in the Gaza strip are members of Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that attacked Israel last October. That accusation led to a loss of vital international funding for UNRWA, officially named the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, at a time when Gaza is on the brink of famine. NPR international affairs correspondent Jackie Northam has been following the details of this story and joins us now. Hi, Jackie.

UN fires additional staffers after probe finds potential involvement in Oct. 7 attack on Israel

The United Nations said Monday it has fired additional staff members from its agency for Palestinian refugees after an internal investigation found they may have been involved in the Hamas-led Oct. 7 attack against Israel.

The U.N. secretary-general’s office announced the move in a brief statement to journalists. Farhan Haq, deputy spokesperson for the secretary-general, did not elaborate on the UNRWA staffers’ likely role in the attack or on the evidence that prompted its decision.

UNRWA previously fired 12 staffers and put seven staffers on administrative leave without pay over the claims. The group of nine staffers the U.N. announced it had fired Monday includes some from each group, said Juliette Touma, communications director for UNRWA.

The U.N. did not clarify how many have now been fired from the agency in total.

Hmm, it’s almost like a whole bunch of United Nations employees were, in fact, working directly with a UN designated terrorist organization. How many more haven’t been caught yet? It’s not like the UN isn’t full of Israel/Jew haters.

Anyhow, what’s going on with Iran’s retaliation?

IDF presents preemptive strike plan on Iran, Hezbollah to senior leaders – report

Amid escalating tensions, senior IDF officers have proposed to the Defense Minister and the Prime Minister to preempt Hezbollah and strike Lebanon. “The chances of escalation on the northern front are increasing. It would be prudent to lead the initiative,” according to a Channel 13 report.

In light of the tense anticipation of Iran and Hezbollah’s response following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, and Fuad Shukr in Lebanon, senior IDF officers have suggested to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to wait for an attack from Hezbollah but to initiate another preemptive Israeli strike, as reported on Channel 13 on Monday evening.

We’ll see if Israel launches an attack, or Iran does.

Climate Cult Upset That There Are Climate Doom Deniers In Congress

Climate change deniers make up nearly a quarter of US Congress

Green Climate Thought PoliceUS politics is an outlier bastion of climate denial with nearly one in four members of Congress dismissing the reality of climate change, even as alarm has grown among the American public over dangerous global heating, an analysis has found.

A total of 123 elected federal representatives – 100 in the House of Representatives and 23 US senators – deny the existence of human-caused climate change, all of them Republicans, according to a recent study of statements made by current members.

“It’s definitely concerning,” said Kat So, campaign manager for energy and environment campaigns at the Center for American Progress, who wrote the report.

The report defined climate deniers as those who say that the climate crisis is not real or not primarily caused by humans, or claim that climate science is not settled, that extreme weather is not caused by global warming or that planet-warming pollution is beneficial.

What of those who still use lots of fossil fuels for their autos and plane trips? Would they not be deniers? Or just climahypocrites? Regardless, in Warmist World no one is allowed to have a different opinion.

The research shows that the American public, perhaps uniquely among people in developed countries, is represented disproportionately by climate deniers. Although 23% of the entire US Congress is composed of those who dismiss the climate crisis, polls show the proportion of Americans who share this view is significantly smaller, by as much as half.

Yet, most of them are also climahyopcrites. Further, when it comes to issues that Americans care about ‘climate change’ comes in as very low. Anyhow, the article continues to whine that non-Cultists are allowed to have their opinions.

Meanwhile

(NPR) High school freshman DeWayne Murphy has a big idea for a new green technology.

“There’s going to be a tank and it should be like a big giant metal tank,” he explains to climate scientist Ben Kravitz on a school day in May. “You fill it up with water, and the tank is going to heat up.”

The water will turn to steam, which will power a car. But it has some potential drawbacks.

“It’s not really designed to take any damage, like at all, so you have to be like really gentle with it,” Murphy says.

“What I really like about that is steam’s kind of an old tech,” Kravitz tells him. “Steam works. We know that. So, yeah, that’s a really cool idea.”

Good grief, this what is being taught in public schools. Perhaps the kiddies should be forced to take non-fossil fueled transportation, see how they like that.
