Tucker Carlson Releases Some J6 Video, Colluding Media Can’t Handle It

Most of the Credentialed Media has been in the pocket of the government in this whole thing, refusing to cover Americans who have been held in lockup for months and years, treated more harshly than murders

Newly Unearthed Jan. 6 Footage ‘Demolishes’ Dems’ ‘Insurrection’ Claims, Tucker Carlson Says

Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Monday that footage of the Capitol riot “demolishes” claims by Democrats that an “insurrection” occurred on Jan. 6, 2021.

“We are about to show you surveillance footage from inside the United States Capitol. The images you will see were recorded 26 months ago today on January 6th, 2021,” Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller and honorary board member of the Daily Caller News Foundation, said. “Until now, politicians have kept this tape hidden from the public. There is no legitimate justification for that and there never has been.”

Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, the speaker of the House provided Carlson access to over 41,000 hours of video footage of the Capitol riot, Axios reported. Previous reports indicated that the amount of footage was 14,000 hours.

“Once you see the video, you will understand why. Taken as a whole, the video record does not support the claim that January 6th was an insurrection,” Carlson said in a voice-over showing some of the released footage. “In fact, it demolishes that claim.”

“That is exactly why the Democratic Party and its allies in the media prevented you from seeing it,” Carlson continued. “By controlling the images you are allowed to view from January 6th, they control how the public understood that day.”

In the video, Tucker talks about how people are wandering around respectfully, how the Qanon Shaman was escorted by a bunch of police, with them showing him around. Yet, he was called dangerous. If so, why didn’t the cops arrest him? There’s no doubt a bunch were violent and unruly, and they should be punished.

Of course the Credentialed Media is upset

Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 Footage Dump Delivers the Sloppy Propaganda Kevin McCarthy Wanted
Using cherry picked clips, Carlson called Capitol rioters “orderly and meek” sightseers

Cherry picked? I do not remember Rolling Stone complaining about that from the J6 committee. (you can read the full article at Yahoo News)

From that jumping point, Carlson used cherry picked, time-stamp free clips to paint a picture of peaceful protesters who were being targeted by the Department of Justice and the Democratic party. Carlson’s use of the footage essentially amounted to a declaration that because Fox had identified some images of trespassers milling about, nothing uncouth actually happened in the Capitol on Jan. 6.

The Fox host and his guests crafted an image of peaceful protesters, who were ushered into the Capitol by police officers and spent their time exploring the complex with an air of “reverence.” Charlie Hurt, appearing as a guest on the show, falsely asserted that there was “no evidence” rioters inside the capitol were armed.

The article was published almost immediately after the show, so, it was mostly prewritten. RS did not care to give it a fair shake. I can remember when Rolling Stone was about power to the people, don’t trust the government, protesting. Now, they’re all about supporting Big Authoritarian Government.

And, then you had NBC News and Deadline, among others, diving in to protect the Government Narrative. Because that’s what they do, instead of attempting to see if the federal government is telling the whole truth. Can any of them explain why it’s called an insurrection yet not one person has been charged with insurrection?

Surprise: Biden’s “Clean Energy” Jobs Going To Right To Work States

Would you rather start and run a business in a state that will not make it a pain in the rear end to get up and running, won’t put massive amounts of regulations and roadblocks in the way, won’t micromanage you with tons of government, and won’t take a good chunk of your money, or, one that will? How about one that works to protect your business and employees from crime? Tries to keep the cost of living low?

Biden’s clean energy factory jobs may elude U.S. union workers

President Joe Biden has pledged that fighting climate change will deliver millions of middle-class jobs with good wages to Americans with union membership cards.

But in the six months since passage of Biden’s signature climate change law, a large majority of the $50 billion of announced investments in domestic manufacturing to support the clean energy transition has been in states with laws that make it harder for workers to unionize, according to a Reuters analysis of corporate and state announcements.

Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) includes tax credits for businesses that produce clean energy components in the United States, and provides higher credits for developers of renewable energy projects if they use products made domestically.

Of the more than 50 EV battery, solar panel and other factories announced since passage of the Act in August, 83% are located in so-called right to work states, which bar companies from requiring workers to pay union dues as a condition of employment, according to a Reuters review of company announcements.

This doesn’t mean there aren’t unions, just fewer, and fewer folks who are forced to join them, having their money forcibly taken to support unions they don’t agree with. And the cost of doing business, the cost of energy, cost of land, etc, tends to be lower in right to work states. So, that’s where companies will go. All for green energy protects to solve an imaginary problem.

Workers In Far Left City Of Asheville Shocked And Upset Over Crime

It’s rather amusing. The people who voted for far left politicians to enact far left crime policies are surprised that far left crime policies were enacted. And do not like the outcome

Workers in Democrat-run North Carolina tourist city bemoan downtown decline: ‘Really disturbing’

surprise surprise surpriseBusiness owners and workers in a Democrat-run North Carolina tourist town said their downtown district is deteriorating amid rising crime, rampant homelessness and diminishing police.

Multiple people who work in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, bemoaned the condition of the city and pinpointed a lack of police presence to its decline, according to an investigation by local outlet Asheville Watchdog.

“We really need beat cops, police on bicycles,” Rose Garfinkle, who lives and works downtown, told the outlet. “The lack of a police presence is noticeable. Things have taken a turn in the last five years.”

Violent crime has spiked in the historic mountain town during recent years amid an influx of people moving in from out of state. Violent crime in Asheville per 100,000 people increased 31% between 2016 and 2020 – nearly double the national average and 18 percentage points higher than North Carolina’s 13% increase statewide during the same period.

What did they think they were going to get? Every single person on the city council, including the mayor and vice mayor, are far, far left radical Progressives. The city attorney is also a far left zealot. This is what the vast majority of Asheville residents voted for. Buncombe County voted 59% for Biden, which was much higher in Asheville, with the rest of the county leaning GOP. It’s an 82% white city, that voted with progressive values. And, when they see their progressive values in action in their own city they are unhappy. Seriously, Neighborhood Scout rates the city as a 1 (100 is safest). That’s not good.

Asheville Police Department Chief David Zack told Fox News Digital last fall that his department is straining to operate at 42% down every day after losing more than 100 sworn officers since summer 2020, when tear gas-choked protests against police snarled downtown for days. Break-ins saw a 200% monthly surge in January, according to local ABC affiliate WLOS.

Well, when the Democrat loons demonize police officers, yammer about defunding them, they leave, and it’s hard to replace them, because there aren’t that many Democrats willing to step up and be law enforcement officers.

Another person reportedly tried to steal a bottle of nail polish and proceeded to paint all over the fitting room before vomiting in the store, and another individual urinated in front of the cash registers.

Management also encountered a homeless person who defecated in front of the store multiple times. Homeless were also camping in front of the store regularly, and one became aggressive, kicking things and brandishing a weapon that resembled a table leg.

Trash, needles and blankets caked with human excrement have also been repeatedly strewn in front of the business.

And you know that is being repeated all over the city. Nor is it something that just happened overnight, it’s something that grew and grew, and now they’re votes have come back to bite them in the posterior. It’s a wonderful city, ruined, like so many others, by left wing idiocy.

Climate Doom Today: Miami Beach, Smartphones, “Real Solutions”

Warmists are so cute when they trot out feel green projects

Miami Beach Takes Action to Combat Climate Change with Innovative Seawall Project

In the face of rising sea levels and increasing frequency of extreme weather events, Miami Beach has taken a bold step to protect its residents and infrastructure from the impacts of climate change. The city is investing in an innovative seawall project that will not only offer protection against flooding but also incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly features.

The project, which is being spearheaded by the Miami Beach Public Works Department, is set to cover a 2.2-mile stretch of coastline and is expected to cost $500 million. It will replace the existing seawall, which has been in place since the 1920s and is no longer capable of withstanding the increasingly severe storms and high tides brought about by climate change.

First off, the closest stations, Vaca Key and Virginia Key, show 1.30 and .98 feet per 100 years. That Virginia Key goes back to 1931, and shows zero acceleration. Second, Miami Beach is a vacation town, which requires people take lots of fossil fueled travel to get there and get around, not too mention all the cruise ships. Will they ban fossil fuels?

‘Clouds of disinformation and climate change’

Cloud is the term used for remote storage of images, files and other stuff in this digital age.

Every smartphone is connected to its cloud, just as midges follow scotsmen in summer. Maybe it is an acronym, CLOUD – Calamitous Load Of Unexpected Doom? Enormous amounts of energy are required to keep all this information instantly available, with lots of cooling because energy generates heat. We are all fooled into believing smartphones and computers have no carbon footprint, but in reality they seriously add to global warming. (snip to the end, especially since the word “influence” is mentioned)

We should avoid being confused or caught up in these trends. Global warming remains an issue; cattle exhale methane; data hub clouds are worse!

The piece does mention, briefly, that social media is bad for people’s mental health, but, it is worse for anthropogenic global warming, so, all you youts need to stop using it if you believe in climate doom.

6 scholars explain what a real climate solution is

Scientists say there’s a lot we can still do to slow the speed of climate change. But when it comes to “climate solutions”, some are real, and some aren’t, says Naomi Oreskes, historian of science at Harvard University. “This space has become really muddied,” she says. (WT-she’s a far left, Progressive (nice fascim) loon who wants to do away with capitalism, for one thing)

So how does someone figure out what’s legit? We asked six climate scholars for the questions they ask themselves whenever they come across something claiming to be a climate solution.

It may sound basic, but one big way to address climate change is to reduce the main human activity that caused it in the first place: burning fossil fuels.

Scientists say that means ultimately transitioning away from oil, coal and gas and becoming more energy efficient. We already have a lot of the technology we need to make this transition, like solar, wind, and batteries, Oreskes says.

I’ll write it yet again: if fossil fuels are so bad, why is it that the majority of people who believe in climate doom are not giving up their own use of fossil fuels?

WWIII Watch: Far Left UK Guardian Advocates NATO To Stop Pulling Punches

The UK Guardian was very much against the Iraq war, and wasn’t all that thrilled with the war in Afghanistan. Their UK operations wanted British troops out, and since they focus on the US a lot, wanted US troops out. Particularly since they were infused with Bush Derangement Syndrome. They constantly advocated in favor of Islamic terrorists, and loved printing pieces on the anti-war forces. Yet, it’s apparently OK to push to protect Ukraine, to the point of nuclear war

Nato faces an all-out fight with Putin. It must stop pulling its punches

In Vladimir Putin’s book of strategic blunders, a hefty, as yet unpublished tome to which new chapters are constantly added, the revival of Nato is among his more amazing own goals. Written off as “experiencing… brain death” by Emmanuel Macron and derided by Donald Trump, the 30-member cold war-era military alliance is now enjoying a renaissance – thanks, almost entirely, to Russia’s president.

Prior to Putin’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, few Nato combat forces were stationed in the east European countries that signed up after the Soviet collapse. Last year’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine turned a trickle of eastward deployments into a torrent. Bungling Putin had provoked the world’s largest, best-armed military force into setting up camp slap bang on Russia’s doorstep.

The Ukraine invasion has given Nato a new lease of life, strengthening its members’ sense of mutual support, reinforcing the US commitment to Europe, raising defence budgets and inducing neutral Sweden and Finland to join. Conversely, Nato is again locked into a dangerous eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation with Russia that will probably outlast the current conflict.

This was never the plan. Nato states will doubtless congratulate themselves at their annual summit in July on presenting a united front. Problem is, the Russian invasion also produced the worst setback in Nato’s history. A catastrophic failure of deterrence – Nato’s traditional raison d’être – led Putin to think he could seize a European country and get away with it. Presumably, he still thinks he might. Even when the fighting eventually stops, this renewed military, ideological, political and economic east-west confrontation looks set to continue indefinitely – and grow more deeply entrenched.

So, war with Russia? Anyhow, lots more yammering, till

This question leads back to the fundamental dilemma of the “new Nato”. Is it still purely a defensive alliance? Or will its leaders accept the inherent logic of the emerging situation? That is to say, Putin’s continuing military, geopolitical and rhetorical escalations, and the deepening involvement of individual western nations, mean Nato’s unassertive, semi-detached posture is no longer tenable or practicable, if indeed it ever was.

It’s not just about Ukraine. The western democracies must accept that the wider, head-on confrontation with Moscow that they have striven in vain to avoid is now upon them, exploding around their ears. Putin is mobilising Russian society for a second great patriotic war. He is going all out. French “ifs”, German “buts” and American “maybes” are increasingly unaffordable.

This is a fight the west cannot afford to lose – but cannot hope to win while a chronically reactive Nato, unsure of its purpose and aims, pulls its punches and lets Putin set the pace.

Yeah, no, let’s not get into WWIII. Why are all these left wing Progressive loons advocating to get all big and bad and tough with Russia to the point of war?

Climate Cultists Super Excited To Stop Willow Oil Project With Hashtags

Don’t expect them to actually Do Anything, like traveling to Alaska, since most do not even live their, nor give up their own use of fossil fuels

#StopWillow is taking TikTok by storm. Can it actually work?

When Elise Joshi posted a TikTok video about the Alaska oil drilling project known as Willow in early February, she didn’t have high hopes it would go viral.

Joshi, 20, posts often about climate issues on TikTok for the account Gen-Z for Change, as well as her personal account. She’s well aware “climate doesn’t trend very often,” as she told CNN. But Joshi’s video about Willow was very different. It took just a few days to accumulate more than 100,000 views, eventually surpassing 300,000.

She was super excited to post this, despite living in Berkeley, California. And taking lots of fossil fueled trips, like all the way to D.C., (I bet not on the train), where she shows herself traveling in a fossil fueled vehicle, despite another that says “f*ck fossil fuels” and another advocating for a car free Berkeley.

Biden’s administration is expected to finalize its decision on whether to approve the ConocoPhillips Willow Project next week. If it goes through, the decadeslong oil drilling venture on the North Slope of Alaska would create thousands of jobs and establish a new source of revenue for the region.

But it would also generate enough oil to release 9.2 million metric tons of planet-warming carbon pollution a year, by the federal government’s estimate, about the same as adding 2 million cars to the roads.

So, all these kiddies and their hashtags want to take away thousands of jobs, tons of revenue for Alaskans, all while not giving up their own use of fossil fuels and 1st World carbon footprints.

While the project has both supporters and opponents in its home state, it has become a lightning rod on social media. Over the past week, TikTok users in particular have galvanized around halting the project, with a staggering number of people watching and posting on the topic.

Videos with anti-Willow hashtags like #StopWillow have amassed close to 50 million views in the last week, and on Friday, Willow was on the site’s top 10 trending list, behind celebrities Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber. Much of the spike in interest has come in the last week alone.

The same kiddies are also taking fossil fueled travel to make their videos and take their selfies. BTW, since TikTok is pretty much run by the Chinese government, do the youts know how many coal plants China has and is building?

As for whether the surge of online activism will work to halt or delay the project, TikTok creators themselves aren’t sure. If the project is approved, several told CNN they will continue to post about the project – detailing ways their followers can support Indigenous groups in Alaska and keep speaking out about Willow.

“We’re coordinated enough to do whatever makes the most sense,” Haraus told CNN. “If that’s in-person protesting, then we will happily do that. This is an issue that we will be voting on and will remember at the ballot box.

“Millions of people are waiting for the White House’s move.”

But, almost none of them are willing to make changes in their own lives.

Debating The Origins Of Wuhan Flu Is Harmful Or Something

I’ve never really understood why the Democrats and the media were so against discussing the origins of COVID, and still are. Regardless of the origin it wouldn’t affect their need to institute authoritarian government, right? Are they that much in the pocket of China, meaning, the Elites are, and they give marching orders to the peasants? Shouldn’t journalists, reporters, be interested in getting to the truth?

The endless — and potentially harmful — debate over COVID’s origins

The U.S. Department of Energy has determined that the most likely source of the coronavirus pandemic was an accidental leak from a Chinese virology lab, according to a recent report from the Wall Street Journal.

Debate over the origins of COVID-19 has raged since the earliest days of the pandemic. Two competing theories — one suggesting that it was a “lab leak” and the other that the virus was passed to humans from animals — have been the source of intense scientific scrutiny, media sniping and political posturing. But after three years of inquiry, there is still no clear answer. (snip)

Far more attention should be paid to the dangers that are coming

“Tracing the roots of Covid-19 is still an important scientific and political task, but it’s far more urgent to halt the next pandemic before it ignites.” — Umair Irfan, Vox

Um, that next pandemic could come from China, just like COVID and a few others which escaped the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Conspiracists made it tough to have a real discussion about the possibility of a lab leak

“The simple reason why so many people weren’t keen to discuss the ‘lab leak’ *theory* is because it was originally conflated by the right with ‘Chinese bio weapon’ conspiracies and continues to be conflated by the right with anti-Fauci conspiracies. Blame the conspiracy theorists. … It’s hard to have a good faith disagreement about a major issue if the issue itself has been hijacked by bad faith folks.” — Medhi Hasan, MSNBC host

Bad faith, like shutting down people’s Free Speech? And, as Rebekah Knoffler notes

Orchestrated by Big Government –  in collusion with Big Tech and the Big Media – the goal was to distort and shut down any candid public discourse about this critical national security issue.

US spy agencies concealed from Congress, and therefore the American people, that COVID-19 demonstrated clear consistencies with China’s biological warfare doctrine and Beijing’s long-term programs to weaponize viruses.

There’s a reason man considered the bio-warfare angle.

Politicians and pundits should never have been involved in the debate in the first place

“The not-quite-solved mystery of exactly where this virus came from and how it found its way into humans … is a scientific question best left to scientists.” — David Quammen, Washington Post

Screw you, especially since the media itself was involved, and, I do reckon that people who are getting sick, having their lives affected have a say.

Focus on COVID’s origins blocks hard conversations about far more important issues

“Whatever the conscious intentions of the proponents of a lab leak as the source of COVID-19, their arguments and their insistence on playing and replaying the debate have become dangerous. They shift responsibility for [the United States’] disastrous handling of the pandemic away from the failures of our political system, our politicians, and our health and public health systems and to a geopolitical rival. They are a partisan political cudgel, diverting attention from the real sources of danger of future pandemics and delaying action on what could be an existential threat to humans.” — John Ehrenreich, Slate

The answer is simple: answer whether lab leak or natural. But, those in China’s pocket apparently do now want that. Meanwhile

(Fox News) GOP leadership on a House committee said Sunday it uncovered new email evidence suggesting Dr. Anthony Fauci “prompted” the drafting of “proximal origin” publication meant to “disprove” the COVID-19 lab leak theory.

In a new memo released Sunday, Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Majority Staff alerted the rest of the committee members to “New Evidence Resulting from the Select Subcommittee’s Investigation into the Origins of COVID-19 – ‘The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2’”

“New evidence released by the Select Subcommittee today suggests that Dr. Fauci ‘prompted’ the drafting of a publication that would ‘disprove’ the lab leak theory, the authors of this paper skewed available evidence to achieve that goal, and Dr. Jeremy Farrar went uncredited despite significant involvement,” the memo says.

That looks like political interference. One wonders why Fauci would do this, and how much fun he’s going to have in House hearings?
