Happy Sunday! It’s a wonderful day in the almost Once And Future America. The Sun is shining, the birds are singing, and Democrats are still melting down. This pinup is by Joyce Ballentyne, with a wee bit of help.
What is happening in Ye Olde Blogosphere? The Fine 15
As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page (nope, that’s gone, the newest Apache killed access, and the program hasn’t been upgraded since 2014, so, most are hosted internally). While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your Pinups for Vets calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out what I declare to be our War on Women Rule 5 and linky luv posts and things that interest me. I’ve also mostly alphabetized them, makes it easier scrolling the feedreader
Don’t forget to check out all the other great material all the linked blogs have!
Anyone else have a link or hotty-fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list. And do you have a favorite blog you can recommend be added to the feedreader?
Two great sites for getting news links are Liberty Daily and Whatafinger.

No more coddling a nation which hates the United States. A nation which would like to destroy the US. Which calls the US the “Great Satan.” No more giving them pallets of cash and access to the oil market to sell their product and make money and them put it into terrorism and their nuclear weapons program (available non-paywalled here)
Trump’s team wants to bankrupt Iran with ‘maximum pressure’ plan
US President-elect Donald Trump’s team wants to ruin Iran. For this purpose, a new plan of ‘maximum pressure’ has been developed, according to the Financial Times.
According to the agency’s sources, the new Trump administration will resume its policy of “maximum pressure” to “bankrupt” Iran and its ability to finance the development of nuclear weapons.
Moreover, the agency’s anonymous sources noted that Trump’s foreign policy team will seek to tighten sanctions against Tehran, including vital oil exports, as soon as the president-elect returns to the White House.
A national security expert familiar with Trump’s plans stated that he was determined to resume the maximum pressure strategy to cripple Iran as soon as possible.
Iran has a choice to make: continue their violent ways, continue supporting and arming Islamic terrorist groups, continue causing problems in the middle east, continue trying to get nuclear weapons or look for peace. Trump and his team will not accept the attacks on Israel by Hamas, Hezbollah, and the others, nor what the Iranian backed Houthis are doing. As shown by his previous term, Trump does not want war: he does want peace. He’s kinda going with the “talk softly and carry a big stick” method, though, he will at times talk loudly.
Iran cannot win a war. Most of their offensive weapons are outdated, and their defensive aren’t that great, as Israel just showed with their attack in October. It wouldn’t be a war: it would be a rout. And, how many Iranians, particularly the young ones, will be happy if the crazy Islamic caliphate leaders are deposed/killed?
Speaking of Iran’s nuclear weapons program
(Jerusalem Post) The Israeli strike at the end of October on Iran’s military complex in Parchin significantly hindered Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear bomb, according to two senior Israeli officials.
The sophisticated equipment destroyed in the attack was essential for shaping and testing plastic explosives that encase uranium in a nuclear device and crucial for initiating a nuclear chain reaction.
The equipment was previously used by Iran before it froze its military nuclear program in 2003.
Fortunately, Iran is not very good at this whole nuclear weapons thing, and keeps giving Israel opportunities to gum up the works.
Well, they’re a little late to the party, I’m sure I’ve done posts on this insanity in the past, but, you know, a wackadoodle idea from the doomsday cult never goes away
Human composting offers an environmentally friendly alternative to burial and cremation. Here's how it works. https://t.co/lcvxctdu9M
— CBS News (@CBSNews) November 16, 2024
They want to tell you how it works. Do you really want to know?
(cBS) Most people plan to either be buried or cremated when they die, but there is another, environmentally friendly option: Human composting.
“So instead of being cremated and turned into ash, you’re getting gently transformed into soil,” Tom Harries, CEO and founder of Earth Funeral, explained Thursday on “CBS Mornings Plus.” (big snip)
He said he sees the eco-friendly option becoming more popular in the future.
“Death is obviously deeply personal, a lot of considerations, religion is one of them. There’s been a little bit of opposition, but I think it’s a new concept. It will gain greater acceptance in mainstream culture at the time.”
In seriousness, there are some who practice this and similar stuff. In Nepal they have what is called a sky burial, where they will lay the dead on a slab in the mountains, pull the body tight, then cut it. The vultures descend, and, whatever is left over is mashed into a pulp and then left there for the vultures to finish off. This seems more eco-loony, though.
Anyhow, I still love this from the Olympics. As a metal fan, it made me squee like a 10 year old getting a pony

The nutter should be sentenced to a psychiatric detention facility so that he can be deprogrammed
Climate change activist gets 2 years in prison for dumping red powder on Constitution display
A climate change activist who dumped red powder on a case containing the original copy of the U.S. Constitution was sentenced on Friday to two years in prison for his role in the vandalism earlier this year at the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson told Donald Zepeda that his attack on the display of the priceless document did nothing to advance his cause.
“You still think that was connected to the climate change problem, and I can’t agree with that,” she said.
Zepeda, a leader of Declare Emergency, was charged with another member of the climate change awareness group. Jackson sentenced Zepeda’s co-defendant, Utah resident Jackson Green, on Tuesday to 18 months of prison.
Consequences have actions. If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime.
The judge said “eco-vandalism” doesn’t benefit the environment and only gives climate change skeptics more reason to believe that activists like Zepeda are “just a bunch of crackpots.”
Pretty much. Do these stunts help bring people to the side of the climate crazies, or just push them away?

It’s a shame that it’s even necessary to dig deep into the law to boot illegal aliens out
Trump wants to use a 226-year-old law to deport millions of undocumented migrants. Can he do it?
Donald Trump’s pathway to deporting millions of undocumented migrants may hinge on a 226-year-old law that was last used to detain non-citizens of Japanese, German and Italian descent during the Second World War.
The 1798 Alien Enemies Act is a potential tool the U.S. president-elect has said he will use to try to make good on one of his key campaign pledges that otherwise could be stalled significantly by the legal machinations of the deportation process.
“If Trump were to try to use the normal procedures, it would [be to] round up a lot of people and put them into immigration court proceedings,” said Stephen Yale-Loehr, a professor of immigration law at Cornell University.
“But it would be a long time before they could actually be deported.” (snip)
The president may invoke the act in times of “declared war” or when a foreign government threatens or undertakes an “invasion” or “predatory incursion” against U.S. territory, Ebright recently wrote in a report for the Brennan Center, a nonpartisan law and justice institute.
Another requirement is that the invasion or incursion must be perpetrated by a foreign nation or government, Ebright noted.
Could it work? It might be a reach. But, the courts could rule in his favor, because you know that the Democrats, and maybe a few squishy Republicans, in the Senate will stop any legislation which changes the idiotic laws that allow anyone to cross the border and claim asylum.
Migrants armed with loaded AR-15 attack police in deep blue city, then are released
A suspected pair of migrants – one of whom was strapped with a loaded machine-gun – are roaming New York City streets again after they attacked two police officers while resisting arrest last week.
Abraham Sosa, 20, who lives above a day care center in the Bronx, was spotted trespassing and urinating inside an unauthorized tunnel area of a Bronx subway station on Nov. 5 at around 4:30 p.m. when police approached him and repeatedly asked for his identification, which he refused to provide, the NYPD tells Fox News Digital. (big snip through all their crimes)
The New York Post, citing sources, reports that the two suspects are migrants. Post sources said a tattoo on Mayren’s arm links him to a vicious drug cartel.
Should these people even be in the U.S.? Why would they be eligible to claim asylum?

So says the person watching 40,000 Warmists take fossil fueled trips to COP29
A climate breakthrough has rarely looked bleaker
It is politics, not logistics or physics, that is stopping us from tackling climate changeHas there ever been a grimmer backdrop to the world’s most concerted attempt to avert global warming?
COP29 — the annual conference for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change — is taking place this year in Baku, Azerbaijan, one of the birthplaces of the modern oil industry and, according to civil liberties group Freedom House, among the most oppressive societies on the planet.
Leaders from China and the US, which account for about 45 percent of the planet’s carbon footprint, will not be attending the conference, which runs until Friday next week. US President Joe Biden is, in any case, the lamest of lame ducks after the Republican sweep in last week’s US elections. Almost every other major economy in Asia and the Americas will also be absent, thanks to the APEC summit in Peru this week, while the leaders of Germany, France and the European Commission are also staying home.
Oh, and Argentina is not attending and

Clean power has won the technical and financial arguments that made it look a non-starter a couple of decades ago. However, the roadblock thrown up by wrongheaded politics is far from being lifted. If you are hoping that Baku would provide a solution to these problems, you are looking in the wrong place.
Let’s look at that sub-head: politics, not logistics or physics. Wrong. It’s willpower. Warmists refuse to practice what they preach. Can you imagine if the billion or so in the 1st World stopped using fossil fuels and made their own lives carbon neutral? In reality, nothing would change, but, per their cult dogma it would.

Just a quick explanation: SLC was all about taking on the 9/11 Truthers, particularly the insane “movie” Loose Change. InfoWars was heavily into 9/11 Trutherism, as was Alex Jones.
