Joe Biden’s intern is happy to post this
Today’s report shows inflation down to 2.5% – continuing at the lowest level in over three years.
That's progress.
Prices are still too high. And Kamala and I are fighting to lower them by building 3 million homes, lowering drug costs, and investing in record energy production.
— President Biden (@POTUS) August 30, 2024
Wait, how is Brandon supposed to build 3 million homes by the end of January? They can’t even get 9 EV charging stations built. And no high speed internet hookups completed. As for inflation, he and Kamala helped cook it, and
No ‘Joy’ on Labor Day: Inflation Sends Cost of Cookouts Soaring
Americans are feeling less “joy” when firing up their grills and getting their marinades ready this Labor Day weekend, realizing that some of the classic barbecue staples are costing them a lot more.
It all begins with firing up the grill, which will cost more than it did three and a half years ago. According to data from the Bureau of Labor statistics, the price of propane, kerosene, and firewood has risen 16 percent from January 2021 to July 2024.
Staples of the basic all-American cookout are up too, meaning hamburgers and hotdogs are going to cost you. According to Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, the price of ground beef has risen 26 percent since January 2021, when former President Donald Trump left the White House.
Similarly, hotdogs are 25 percent higher than they were in January 2021. The price of chicken has also jumped since Biden and Harris came on the scene. Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, not seasonally adjusted, shows the price of fresh and frozen chicken parts 23 percent higher now than when Trump left office in January 2021. Matters are worse if Americans are looking to roast a whole chicken for their long weekend, as a fresh whole chicken is up 27 percent since January 2021.
And if friends and family are forgoing low carb trends and want to pair their barbecue delicacy with a roll, it is going to cost even more. Fresh biscuits, rolls, and muffins in the U.S. have risen 28 percent since Biden and Harris took office.
Side dishes, spices, lettuce, salad dressing, and beer are all up. So, people can vote for a guy they hate who does well on the economy, understands how it works, and wants you to have better costs without the government controlling everything, or, the lady who supercharged the issues as the economy was re-opening.

They’re looking to deal with the problem the governor calls imaginary
After video of armed Venezuelan gang shared by local official goes viral, Colorado city takes action
Aurora, Colorado Mayor Mike Coffman announced on Friday that the city is starting the process of clearing the apartment buildings where transnational armed gang Tren de Aragua has taken over.
In a statement posted to Facebook, Coffman shared “the Aurora City Attorney’s Office is preparing court documents to request an emergency court order to clear the apartment buildings where Venezuelan gang activity has been occurring by declaring the properties a ‘Criminal Nuisance.’”
“This will require a municipal judge to issue the order with the goal of getting these properties back under the control of the property owners. In the meantime, the law enforcement task force set up to disrupt and arrest Venezuelan gang members in these buildings will continue its operation. I strongly believe that the best course of action is to shut these building[s] down and make sure that this never happens again,” concluded Coffman.
One has already been picked up. In an email to Fox News Digital, Aurora Police Department confirmed that Tren de Aragua leader “Cookie Monster” is currently in custody in relation to a shooting on July 28.
I wonder if they will be immediately remanded into the custody of the federal government for deporatation, considering they are foreign gang members who would be no way eligible for any sort of asylum. By all the US laws they never should have been let in, however they arrived here.
Fox 31 reports that the men seen in the video that has gone viral are armed members of the Tren de Aragua gang, according to Department of Homeland Security sources.
If DHS knows they are members of a violent gang from a foreign nation why is it not doing anything? They seem to be sitting around twiddling their thumbs while Aurora residents are terrorized. Right now, the legal process could take time, and then they have to marshal resources to actually clear the building of violent gang members armed with rifles.

Pope Francis says Earth is ‘sick’ in new climate change warning
Pope Francis on Friday urged people around the world to better protect the environment, ahead of a 12-day trip to Southeast Asia next week in which the pontiff is expected to urge global action on climate change.
“If we took the planet’s temperature, it will tell us that the Earth has a fever. And it is sick,” the pontiff said in a video message. “We must commit ourselves to … the protection of nature, changing our personal and community habits.”
Francis releases a video message each month to announce his prayer intentions for that month. The intention for September is “for the cry of the Earth”.
The 87-year-old leader of the global Catholic Church leaves on Monday to visit Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Singapore.
Well, that’s weird. Is he planning on taking this long trip by sailing ship? I suspect it would take quite a bit of time to get to those nations. But, you know, it seems that those who preach from Book Of Gore tend to be the worst offenders.

IDF kills Wassem Hazem, head of Hamas in Jenin
Wassem Hazem, head of the Hamas terror organization in the West Bank area of Jenin, was killed on Friday in a joint IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police counterterrorism operation in the northern Samaria area, Israel’s military announced shortly afterward.
Hazem was killed in his vehicle after an exchange of fire during the joint operation. His role in the terror group involved carrying out and directing shooting and bombing attacks.
Hazem continuously advanced terrorist activities in the Judea and Samaria area, the IDF added.
Following the elimination of Hazem, two additional terrorists, Maysara Masharqa and Arafat Amer, who were in the vehicle with him, attempted to flee the scene. However, shortly afterward, they were also killed by an IDF aircraft.

Berlin Holocaust memorial defaced: ‘Jews are committing genocide’
A Berlin Holocaust memorial honoring non-Jews who protested against the persecution of their Jewish family members was vandalized with anti-Israel graffiti on Wednesday, according to the Berlin Police and European Jewish Congress.
“Jews are committing genocide,” was scrawled across the Rosenstrasse protest memorial according to EJC.
A Palestinian flag and the slogan “free Palestine” was spraypainted on the ground in front of the sculptures.
These people are assholes.
We’re pretty much spending too much on the rest of the BS “solutions”, as well
US leads wealthy countries spending billions of public money on unproven ‘climate solutions’
A handful of wealthy polluting countries led by the US are spending billions of dollars of public money on unproven climate solutions technologies that risk further delaying the transition away from fossil fuels, new analysis suggests.
Sigh. CO2 is not a pollutant
These governments have handed out almost $30bn in subsidies for carbon capture and fossil hydrogen over the past 40 years, with hundreds of billions potentially up for grabs through new incentives, according to a new report by Oil Change International (OCI), a non-profit tracking the cost of fossil fuels.
To date, the European Union (EU) plus just four countries – the US, Norway, Canada and the Netherlands – account for 95% of the public handouts on CCS and hydrogen.
The US has spent the most taxpayer money, some $12bn in direct subsidies, according to OCI, with fossil fuel giants like Exxon hoping to secure billions more in future years.
In fairness, the US has handed out way more than that on “loans” for solar panel companies that went out of business.
But carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects consistently fail, overspend or underperform, according to previous studies. CCS – and blue hydrogen projects – rely on fossil fuels and can lead to a myriad of environmental harms including a rise in greenhouse gases and air pollution.
They’re both BS, but, politicians handing out the taxpayer money receive lots of donations from the business owners.
“The United States and other governments have little to show for these massive investments in carbon capture – none of the demonstration projects have lived up to their initial hype,” said Robert Howarth, professor of ecology and environmental biology at Cornell University. “It is instructive that industry itself invests very little in carbon capture. This whole enterprise is dependent on government handouts.”
Weird, because it’s the same with solar and wind.
“Governments are pouring billions of taxpayer dollars into technologies that have consistently failed to deliver on their promises … allowing fossil fuel companies to continue business,” said Lorne Stockman, research director at OCI.
And that is the climate cultist’s big problem: they want fossil fuels companies gone, not realizing that they will no longer be able to take fossil fueled buses, trains, planes, or boats. No cruises, no popping off to an island for a vacation, no driving down to the store. Oh, and not to mention all the roughly 700 products made with petroleum.

Two days ago I mentioned how towns around Sanctuary City Denver are having a lot of issues with illegal aliens, particularly with the Venezuelan gang members, especially Aurora, which has seen the notorious gang take apartment complexes, and they do not have the manpower to do anything about it. How does the governor respond?
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis dismissed anger over Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua taking over apartment buildings in the Denver suburb of Aurora, calling it “imagination” — despite video footage, police reports and the city’s mayor confirming it’s happening.
Polis’ press office offered the snarky statement Wednesday night in response to Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky — who told The Post the gang’s takeovers are tied to his policies.
“The Governor has already let the Mayor know that the State is ready to support the local police department with assistance from state troopers and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation if needed,” Shelby Wieman, a spokesperson for the Dem governor, told The Post.
“But, according to police intelligence this purported invasion is largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination.”
Too bad Aurora doesn’t have the ability to round them up and bus them to the governor’s home. Let Polis experience the diversity
On Wednesday night, Fox Denver aired surveillance video, which showed an armed gang of men — later confirmed by cops as suspected members of Tren de Aragua — strolling through an apartment complex in Aurora that residents said is overrun by the gang.
Three of the men could be seen carrying handguns, while another held a rifle as they entered the troubled apartment complex, breaking into a unit shortly before a shootout took place at the complex that left one person severely injured.
Further, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman, told Fox News on Thursday that “there are several buildings” that have “fallen to these Venezuelan gangs” in his city.
Yet, the state is doing nothing, despite having the resources available, which would most likely necessitate the deployment of the National Guard. It is against the law for foreigners to carry firearms, for a start. Where did they get them? There’s zero chance they obtained them legally.
The Post asked Polis’ office if he intends to backtrack its statement given the piles of evidence of Tren de Aragua’s takeover, to which Wieman said the governor “really hopes that the city council members in charge stop trashing their own city when they are supposed to keep it safe.
I’d say that Aurora should blow off the sanctuary law of Colorado and call ICE, but, would the Biden-Harris admin actually do anything? This is what you will get with a continuation of the Biden-Harris policies if she wins in November. And, perhaps some Democrat voters in Aurora and the surrounding towns are learning that there are consequences for voting Democrat, since these illegal gang members are also shoplifting around town and scaring the citizens. Those Americans in the apartment complexes are being terrorized.
